Description

The Scout H2O’s design is based on a traditional hiking shoe and features the same venerable characteristics that will appeal to tour and city riders alike. The durable construction offers excellent foot support and stability. The REV'IT! by Vibram® sole makes walking comfortable while providing excellent grip and protective properties. A waterproof hydratex® liner and the gusseted tongue ensure the foot are kept dry. Reflection, a gear shift pad, and an anatomically shaped foot bed are just a few examples of its many quality features.

Well, after a month of use I have to say this is my best pair of low boots. I'm riding for more than 20 years and I have try several promising products. This pair of boots are really comfortable for every day use. I had to try them immediately including walking and I'm really impressed. The material and construction looks really good! Of course time will show. My only concern is when it comes to style - I would prefer a more slick look. But this is my taste and it is really a minor concern.
I totally recommend them. (prefer ½ size up)

Feet stay dry, boot's don't get wet at all. Very easy to put on, though I had to get used to lacing system. They fit true to size. I would say they are for touring around >+5C, and I can tolerate even lower temperatures with thick socks. However, these boots are waaay too warm to be worn when you get of a bike, e.g. indoors. Didn't test them in summer though, but I feel like they are suitable for touring summer as well, but will be too warm for city riding. Protection feels solid, and I cannot imagine riding my bike in sneakers again. It took me some time to get used to thickness of the boots when changing gears, but now it's fine. Also, it's kind of funny to walk in them off the bike since they fixate your whole ankle.
