One of the distinctive features of the Renegade-V is the characteristic frontal view of the helmet. The chin area is designed and shaped to resemble the look of a rugby player or a martial artist. But the chin bar’s aggressive design is not only for looks, it also increases the shell strength in this area. There are four slots to be found on the front of the helmet, and another total of four slots on the sides and back. All contributing to a highly effective ventilation and therefore great comfort. The side ducts remove hot air from the interior, through integrated air channels behind the cheek pads. For added comfort the four ventilation slots in the front may be opened and closed with a slide shutter on the inside. The surface of the EPS cheek pad material is treated with a noise reducing foam.

Very good
The usual high Arai quality. The VAS visor mechanism is a great step from the earlier ones. Buy one, I have one myself!
Perfect
The inner pads are absolutely perfect, a more comfortable helmet has never been used. Ventilation is excellent. sound insulation is successful, it does not disturb road noise even at speeds of 130 140 km.
Excellent
I have always been a Shoei fan - this is my forst Arai and I am super happy with it. Fits like a glove, light, stable and relatively silent. Very good for Super Sports. Highly recommend it.
Mükemmel - Unique
Kesinlikle gözünüz kapalı alabileceğiniz arai kasklardan bir tanesi. Pad yapısı harika ses performansı mükemmel 100 - 110km kızlarda mükemmel. Güvenliği şahane almayı düşünüyorsanız kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.
Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful arai helmets. The pad structure is absolutely flawless. It feels very comfortable and very safe. There is almost no sound problem at speeds of 100 - 110 km, I would definitely recommend it.
guter Helm, aber in der Praxis nicht so leise wie behauptet
Habe meinen 6 Jahre alten HJC-Helm ausgetauscht, weil er echt laut geworden war - ab 80 km/h nur noch mit Gehörschutz zu ertragen.
In mehreren Testberichten wurde der Arai-Helm als besonders bequem und leise angepriesen. Kann ich so nicht bestätigen, werde auch weiterhin einen Gehörschutz bei Motorradtouren verwenden. Das Pinlock-Visier funktioniert einwandfrei, der Einbau ist etwas zeitaufwendig. Der Kinnriemen ist relativ weit hinten befestigt. Großes Sichtfeld besonders an den Seiten, der Abstand zum Kinnschutz ist eher knapp bemessen. Solider Helm, ist sein Geld wert, werde ihn behalten.

Big improvements when compared with my previous Viper gt. I was expecting some improvement over the noise but anyway for long trip you need earplugs.
Arai Kundenservice ist nicht vorhanden.
Achtung: meine Rezensionen bezieht sich nur auf den Kundenservice von Arai direkt. FC-Moto war wie immer super!
Ich habe den Helm gerade einmal 1 Jahr, insgesamt nicht mal 5000km also ca. ½ Saison. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt der Helm hochwertig. Lasst euch aber nicht täuschen.
Nach ca. 1000km sind die Knöpfe der Kopf Belüftung so ausgeleiert, dass sie nicht mehr funktionieren. FC-Moto Support hat mich dann an Arai direkt verwiesen, weil Arai den Kundenservice in Deutschland selbst macht.
Kurz bei Arai angefragt und deren Antwort war schlicht: kein Garantie Fall weil Verschleißteil. Ersatz kostet 40€. Na danke.
Ebenso ausgeleiert sind die Visierbelüftungen. Auch hier kein Entgegenkommen
Ich habe mir dann zusätzlich noch das Proshade Sonnenvisier gekauft. Nach nicht mal 500km ist das Visier jetzt gebrochen. Ersatz kostet 120€ weil man in Dtl. nur das gesamte Visier bekommt und kein Sonnenvisier alleine.
Heute, am 20.05.2023 hab ich den Helm aus dem Winterschlaf geholt und beim ersten öffnen der Kinnbelüftung ist mir die Hälfte des Gitters entgegen gekommen.
Sowas erwarte ich bei einem Helm für 100€, aber bei einem Helm jenseits der 500€ bin ich einfach nur enttäuscht und sprachlos. Nie wieder Arai.

Passform, Qualität typisch Arai - Top, aber zu laut! Mein alter Condor war viel leiser!
