Since 1988, the sporty disc was developed with tear-off edges, which reduced air resistance in a crouched seating position. Measurements by Motorrad magazine, for example, measured a top speed 5 km/h higher on a KAWASAKI ZZR 1100.
In 1992, development continued and made it possible to produce discs with a tear-off edge in such a way that no distortion occurs.
In 1994, MRA was the first manufacturer to introduce the racing discs (double bubble). In the following years, well-known riders won GP victories and world championships on GP machines with MRA racing discs.
MRA is proud that many manufacturers and racing teams worldwide rely on MRA products because in racing only top technology is used.
But also for touring riders, the MRA engineers show their skills and creativity. The latest example is the X-CREEN series. No spoiler disc has ever been more versatile and individual. The small spoiler can be adjusted in height, angle and distance to the disc and makes the disc a multi-talent.

The S1000XR is described by BMW as an adventure sports bike, which is already very well equipped from the factory. The S1000XR, which is now more clearly designed for touring, nevertheless loses none of its dynamism. The Vario-X-Creen lens (VXCM) for this BMW is 54.5cm long overall at the highest position. All the experience gained from the proven, adjustable MRA screens, such as Varioscreen (V), Vario touring screen (VT) or X- Creen (XC)were the basis for the development of this new, two-piece screen. A striking feature is the large upper part, which is attached to the base plate with a total of three double joints. This results in a particularly stable connection, even at higher speeds. The many adjustment options in angle, length and distance allow the airflow between the disc and the upper part of the disc to be directed in such a way that the wind pressure is deflected upwards almost without turbulence and the helmet and upper body are in the slipstream. The Vario-X-Creen is available in colorless and smoke gray.
