The price hurts but the quality and refinement are obvious to see. This is a robust jacket & weight is well distributed when on. I have no issue with the collar as other reviews as normally wear a 'buff' type neck scarf so can't complain. Price- well tried Rev-it Dominator GTX first but the fit was no good (still top quality product). Fit on ADV rally is superb. I have a 42' chest & medium size is fine. Goretex-pro works well as jacket tends to adopt a good ambient temperature with right base layers. Have not tried venting as yet as purchased in winter. Was going to go Badlands but a bit tight around shoulders as I am between M/L in size. Although more expensive the size and quality made me chose ADV rally jacket. Badlands still superb jacket though. Food for thought is the jacket may well last you ten years plus and this may soften the cost consideration.
