I bought this jacket and updated the back armor, I will forever be thankful that I did. I was involved in a motorcycle accident that meant I got flipped up in the air, I hit a light pole before I hit a wall and finally landed on the pavement on my back. I suffered multiple fractures in my vertebrates, but I am extremely lucky as this could have been much worse, this jacket with the upgraded armour means I will eventually be able to ride another day.
I now must buy a new one as it was cut off me at the scene, but I would highly recommend this jacket when you upgrade the back armour.
