The new Shoei XR-1100 helmet from Shoei is a direct evolution of the XR-1000, improving on it in many key areas.
Completely redesigned from the ground up, the Shoei XR-1100 utilises new and innovative design solutions to create the safest and most comfortable helmet possible.
With a new stylish shape and 4 shell sizes from XXS - XXL the Shoei XR-1100 will fit every head and suit every riding style.
A brand new visor mechanism
The XR1100 has a suction seal concept to guarantee it is completely draft free. The visor, in comparison with the XR1000, has been enlarged to give a broader field of vision and to allow for a larger pin lock visor.
New ventilation system
It incorporates a negative pressure system with a special extraction technology to guarantee the effective and continuous discharge of warm air, even at very low speeds.
Adjustable inlet vents on the chin (with defroster), on the brow (2 vents) and on the back (4 outlet vents) make optimum climate control child's play. A special ventilation duct layout minimizes ventilation noise.
The aerodynamics were perfected in numerous laboratory and road tests. Sophisticated spoilers are integrated in the shell to optimise air flows, making the helmet extremely stable even at high speeds.
The helmet has a low-drag design plus a compact profile that considerably reduces wind noise.
All interior features have been redesigned to enhance XR-1100 wearer comfort. The helmet offers a 3D centre pad which comfortably encases the head. The centre pad, cheek pads and chin strap are all detachable and washable.
Shell in AIM+: Fibreglass, Organic Fibres and high performance fibres are layered for a shock-absorbent shell with optimum rigidity.
Modular EPS dual density liner system: Optimised protection through EPS elements with different shock-absorbing levels.
Mist-retardant CW-1 pinlock visor: With safety locking mechanism and dual resistance visor seal, fast and simple exchange.
Double-D ring: Easy to use and always perfectly adjusted.
Chin Curtain: All Shoei XR-1100 come with a draught excluding chin guard. EC2205 Approved
