Had this vest for a few months now. I wear it under a Rev’it Dominator jacket with the Rev’it back protector removed. I can’t feel it while riding. Battery lasts 2-3 days riding which is plenty. The only “complaint” is it’s pretty warm in traffic or in hot weather. I recommend this vest. I feel safer wearing it but hope I never have to put it to the test!

Die Weste sitzt angenehm, nur ist in vorgebeugter Sitzhaltung (sportler) darauf zu achten das Sie nicht im Bereich der Achseln zu eng sitzt und zwickt. Bei den aktuellen Temperaturen sehr angenehm, im Sommer wird sich zeigen wie sich das Material verhält hier kann ich noch keine Meinung abgeben. Über den Einsatz kann ich keine Aussage machen da sie bisher noch nicht ausgelöst hat und hoffentlich auch nicht auslösen wird.

La batterie ne se charge pas à 100 mais à 99% même en chargeant plusieurs jours, du coup je n'ai jamais vu le voyant qui indique la charge complète.

Zur Weste kann ich nicht viel sagen. Hab sie geladen und auch die Magnete geschlossen. Startet problemlos. Alles wie beschrieben. Allerdings passte die Weste nicht. Hätte denke ich eine Nummer kleiner gebraucht. Also hab ich Widerrufen. Mein Geld wieder zu bekommen zog sich über 2 Wochen hin und das trotz mehrerer freundlicher Mails. Erst als ich PayPal einschalten wollte kam mein Geld. Deshalb nur 3 Sterne. Sollte schneller erledigt sein.

Vesten er et virkelig gennemtænkt produkt. Har ikke prøvet at vesten udløser sig, og således heller ikke prøvet at styrte med den på. Men den er ganske behagelig at have på. Det eneste er når den benyttes med en læderdragt i et stykke. Her skal der lidt toldmodighed til. Personligt kommer jeg inderdragten (altså den tynder der kan tages ud og vaskes) inderst. Så går det hele lettere.

Angenehm beim Tragen, Gewicht merkt man garnicht. Wheelies geh'n ohne Probleme ohne Fehlauslösung. Man hat ein gutes Sicherheitsgefühl. App ist eher nutzlos. Trotzdem top

병원비를 고려하면 매우 저렴한 선택. 몇종의 에어백중에 선택함. 다이네즈에 비해 어깨까지 보호되는 넓은 범위가 장점. 줄이 당겨져 격발되는 에어백에 비해 가속도센서, 자이로센서로 격발되므로 하이사이드, 노우 사이드 등 다양한 사고에 대한 대응력과 격발의 신속성이 높을 것으로 보임. 등쪽에 모든 장비가 집중되어 무게 배분이 맞지 않음. 착용후에는 이질감이 없음. 스마트폰과 블루투스 연결에 신경을 써야 함.

Heb het gelukkig nog niet in de praktijk getest. Goed afgewerkt en volgens testen zeer effectieve bescherming. Pasvorm is belangrijk. Ik heb een maat L gekocht en dat is voor mijn lengte 1,90m en 82kg prima

Considero que la talla en los hombros es un poco corta, sin embargo el resto del chaleco se acomoda perfecto, algo a considerar cuando compras el chaleco es el protector de espalda del mismo, pues si tu chamarra tiene ziper con el pantalon, es incomodo o inclusio dificil de cerrar con el protector de espalda, la bateria funciona bastante bien, es fresco pero aun asi en temperaturas superiores a 30C, es incomodo al tenerlo debajo de tu chamarrara (la mia es una touring), no genera ninguna incomodidad por los protectores base de la Chamarra, en eso le doy 5 estrellas, la App con el celular funiona bien, pero no fue de mi agrado porque se desconecta facilmente el enlace con el celular. Este es un dispositivo que compras esperando nunca usarlo :)! Lo recomiendo como sistema de seguridad adicional. Estoy feliz con mi compra y no tuve ninguna mala experiencia con el proceso de envio

Die App, die nicht unbedingt notwendig ist, ist noch verbesserungswürdig. Mit der Weste selber bin ich sehr zufrieden - glücklicherweise musste ich den Airbag bisher nicht nutzen. Die Weste hat unter meinen Text- und Lederjacken gut gepasst. Das Gewicht spürt man nicht und ich fahre auch sehr häufig mit einem kleinen Rucksack - stört ebenfalls nicht.

Great airbag vest - but one problem

Very happy with this product overall. Only one thing that Alpinestars have gotten very wrong is they have not made it actually compatible with their own tech-air clothing!!! I get that this is supposed to be worn under any brand of jacket of the right size (with enough expansion for the airbag to inflate) but beware - I decided to buy a tech-air Alpinestars leather jacket anyway and the connection lead from the jacket and the connection port on the vest are different, so I cannot plug the jacket into the vest and thus use the display panel on the sleeve of the jacket itself. What a stupid oversight. The jacket has a built-in lead that connects to the other Alpinestars race and street air vests, but not the new Tech-air 5. Well done Alpinestars design team! This does not affect the functionality of the tech-air 5 in any way but seems crazy that I cannot see that the vest is active by looking at the panel on the sleeve of the tech-air jacket.

I also use the TechAir race airbag system. Identical technology only with the difference that it can be used with other equipment from other manufacturers, which makes it very effective. Also, the application is simple and clear to use. It fits the body perfectly. I am waiting to use it during the summer period, when I will see how it copes with high temperatures. All praise for now!

Das System ist unter der Jacke nicht zu spüren und die Beweglichkeit ist nicht eingeschränkt. Der Akku lädt schnell und reicht dann für ca 30 Stunden Fahrt. Die Kalibrierung nach dem Schließen der Weste ist in 10 Sekunden erledigt. Leichte und luftdurchlässige Materialien. Würde die Weste auf alle Fälle wieder kaufen da ein großes Sicherheitsplus.
Bin absolut begeistert, trage XXL und die passt wie angegossen. Die Funktion musste ich bisher nicht testen.

I am enjoying it. It is must for any longer on road trip. Little bit hot as there is no chance for airflow. However only vests as per my knowledge which protects shoulders too. Also only one which does not need monthly subscription. Waiting for Tech10 for off-road.

Die Tech Air 5 Weste ist jeden Cent wert. Der Preis ist konkurrenzfähig, die Weste super verarbeitet. Sie ist kein zusätzliches Innenfutter da sie sehr gut belüftet ist. Einziger Minuspunkt- sie ist relativ schwer, aber nach 10 Minuten tragen merkt man sie schon nicht mehr.

Ich hatte vor 5Jahren eine Airbagweste zum drüberziehen, mit Reisleine. Das war sehr unpraktisch, weil wenn man vergaß die Leine vom Motorrad, beim Absteigen zu entriegeln, löste der Airbag aus.

I frequently ride in 90+ degree fahrenheit heat. Vest does not make me any hotter. Combined with my Alpinestars jacket designed for the vest I get great air flow. I wear it every time I am on my bike. Did a 700 mile weekend moutain trip with the vest and it does not hinder my riding sytyle at all. For me I end up ride faster on the curvy roads.

Size XL right for my 184cm and 89kg, the vest is always just loos,so great. Of course i had to test it while driving to be able to give a rating.For the ride in four days i spent the whole charge of the battery charge up to 10%,but i always turned it off when i was standing.

Ich habe mir die Weste gekauft, da sie anders wie viele Konkurrenzprodukte unter der Jacke getragen wird und den kompletten Oberkörper inklusive Schultern schützt. Im Sommer ist sie angenehm zu tragen man merkt sie nach ein paar Minuten nicht mehr. Jedoch ist das Steuerungssystem auf dem Rücken, etwas größer aufbauend, was bei den entsprechenden Jacken zu beachten ist.
