its exactly what i wanted because i went to a store to see them than bought it online for half price !! :)

On the positive side, these are beautiful boots and look really good with a pair of jeans. Mine were also true-to-size ie. I am a 42 according standard tables so I ordered size 42 and it fits well. Yes, they require a push to get your foot in but they're comfortable to wear. I wouldn't size up just to enable putting them on easier.

So good points: very nice looking shoes, nicely fitting and comfortable.

Unfortunately they're still only worth 2 stars, at least at their current pricing - even reduced they're way too much. I had to invest almost the same as I paid for them, straight after buying them, for a professional shoe repair (both shoes). And I only did this because I'd already returned the first pair for having the same problem and decided I'd rather put money into fixing the second pair than into postage costs to return them.

The problem is with poorly made soles. On both shoes (and one shoe of the first pair, which I returned) the sole of the shoe had not been sufficiently secured and sealed to the shoe itself. The sole was not falling away but instead creaking (loudly!) with every step, as pressure was distributed across the badly fitted parts of the sole. This was not a quiet squeek, I might add. I'm talking loud and audible to people ten metres away!

The repair of both shoes involves having a professional cut the soles away then correctly and securely refitting it to the shoe. Not a particularly nice thing for a brand new pair of shoes but if you're willing to pay for it, as said above, they certainly do look good and are comfortable to wear.

A shame about the poor finish of the soles but worth buying if you don't mind paying extra to fix that.
