I bought it for my brother and Sena 5S for myself.
Until now very good product, only downside which I saw is when you are connected with mobile and app Spotify it is constantly loosing bluetooth connection. Current solution is to download older app, but after some time connection lost again.
With connection to Sena 5S it is good intercom.
Overall very good product, but if you can spend some more I would recommend Sena 5S.

Installation war etwas kompliziert, da keine ausführliche Anleitung der verschiedenen Einbau-Konzepte mitgeliefert worden ist.
Nach paar Stunden habe ich aber zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit geschafft.

This unit is a great little product. I like everything about it. The size, the controls, the accessories e.g. both open and closed face mics. It was also very easy to fit. I opted to use the clamp method on my HJC R Alpha which had speaker recesses. the sound is good and I can access Siri at the touch of a button. You can fast forward and rewind tracks too. I think it is good value and I would purchase again. If you’re wondering whether to buy it then go ahead.

perfektes Sozia-Headset
Habe selbst ein SENA 10U in meinem Helm und suchte ein preisgünstiges SENA-Headset für den Helm meiner Sozia. Da kommt es nicht auf die Reichweite an, wichtig ist ihr vor allem die einfache Handhabung. Simpler als beim SMH5 geht's nun wirklich nicht! Knopf drücken - gegensprechen - Knopf drücken - gegensprechen beendet.
Nettes Gimmick am Rande: man kann gemeinsam von nur einer Bluetooth-Audioquelle (z. B. Handy oder Navi) Musikhören... besser ist es in diesem Fall aber, wenn man den gleichen Musikgeschmack hat :-)
Würde das SMH5 für diesen Zweck sofort wieder kaufen!

Qualitativ hochwertig und anständige Klangqualität
Habe mit dem Sena SMH5 ein Gerät von SHAD ersetzt und der Klang (bei Musik hören) mit dem Sena ist viel besser. Die Klangqualität kann nicht wirklich mit einem echten Kopfhörer verglichen werden, dazu fehlt es deutlich an Bässen, aber trotzdem absolut brauchbar.
Excellent middle range headset
I bought this to go on my wife's helmet as we sometimes ride two up on weekend trips. I have a Sena 20s. They paired just fine and the reception is perfectly good. We haven't really used many of the complex features (sharing music etc) but for general use its been great. Easy to install, totally weather proof (tested in heavy rain) and good battery life.
