I've traveled the world using the Garmin montana 600 and 610 series and all I can say is that the XT has some drawbacks but nothing major that I can't live without as compared to the montana. The xt has a beautiful bright screen, it's user-friendly and so far looks like a good replacement.

Výhody: vynikající display čitelný i na přímém slunci, velmi přehledná navigace, podpora GPS, Glonass i Galieo a z toho pramenící silný signál a přesnost, hledání bodů zájmu.
Nevýhody: mapy jen Evropa bez Ruska, Asie rozhodně chybí, lze řešit dohráním vlastních map. Co je ale tragické je plánování vlastních tras, zde Garmin totálně zaspal, jeho Web Garmin Explore je středověk...

Der erste Eindruck ist sehr gut, startet flott, Bedienung einfach..vielleicht habe ich ein Montagsgerät aber der SD Card Slot funktioniert nicht, hakt total und SD Karten werden nicht erkannt; Jetzt hoffe ich auf eine gute Reklamationsabwicklung bei FC-Moto und Garmin. Bin gespannt!

I had a 15-year-old Zumo and you can see the difference. The screen is brighter the touch is more sensitive and the navigation is quicker and more intuitive.
Einfache Handhabung und leicht zu verbauen an meiner KTM 1290

Hatte zuvor das Zumo 210 und bin jetzt auf das XT umgestiegen. Die Entwicklung ist ein Meilenstein! Ich habe es zum ausgiebigen Testen zweckentfremdet und im Auto für den Urlaub nach Kroatien benutzt. Es lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen! Schnelle Routenneuberechnung, Live-Verkehrsinfos und für mich das Beste ist die Kopplung mit Google-Maps. Man sucht auf dem Handy z. B. ein Restaurant (was auf dem Handy einfach leichter geht), geht auf "Teilen" und schon hat man es auf dem Navi. Echt praktisch!

I have yet to try this GPS long term but I am a little concerned that the slot where the baseplate latches in might eventually break off rendering the GPS useless and secondly the waterproof covers for the SD card and the connector do not look like they would hold out prolonged rain. Apart from that the features and clarity of the GPS is excellent.

Viel Erfahrung konnte ich bislang nur im Auto machen. Aber es ist leicht und gut zu bedienen. Bin gespannt welche Strecken mir das Navi vorschlägt.

Nog geen ervaring, wordt dit weekend uitgeprobeerd. Installatie op de motor ging prima. Gelukkig paste de basis ook gelijk op mijzelf gemaakte houder. De bout gaten van de zumo xt basis zijn hetzelfde als die van de zumo 660. Scherm is inderdaad erg goed leesbaar.
O Melhor GPS para Motos
Espectacular. Extremamente versátil, fácil de interagir e estremamente responsivo. Trabalhar com ele é um prazer: A facilidade com que se colocam mapas diversos, a opção "birds eye", a facilidade com que se acrescentam desvios de rota, etc... tudo pensado para o motociclista. Sem dúvida o melhor GPS que a garmin fez.

Gute Verarbeitung, helles Display, komme gut mit klar.
Probleme gab es mit meinem alten Chinaheadset, dass problemlos mit TomTom Rider 550 zusammen funktioniert hat.
Auch ein weiteres Headset, dass ich problemlos mit anderen Geräten koppeln konnte, brachte keine Naviansage beim Garmin zumo XT heraus.
Erst das Sena 3S funktionierte auf Anhieb.
Blöd, dass man da noch Zusatzinvestitionen hat.

Zumo-XT:
Lots of features very bright screen. However, it is quirky to use and somewhat confusing to learn. Plenty of online videos (which tells you something), but most are not recent and screen images don't match reality which makes learning to use the unit frustrating.
For route planning Garmin seems to push Base Camp. My opinion of Base Camp is run away as fast as possible and don't look back, it needs to be scraped. Now!
On-unit route planning is very clunky and it shouldn't be this difficult and tedious.
To create and import a useable customized route it absolutely requires a third party app to be functional. Good luck finding one that works because Garmin sure doesn't have one.

Ging während der Fahrt mehrmals aus und musste neu gestartet werden.
Geschwindigkeits Warnung per Ton ließ sich nicht abstellen und hupte alle paar Sekunden laut in die Ohren.
TomTom gekauft und gut ist .
Entspricht den Erwartungen und arbeitet gut bis sehr gut.
Die vorgeschlagenen Streckenführungen könnten teilweise effektiver zu den Suchkriterien ausfallen.
A worthwhile upgrade from my zumo 660.
The Zumo XT has an incredible screen, both in size and colour display. Even on the brightest of days it is clear and punchy. The WiFi enabled updates makes the user experience more pleasant - no more booking up to the computer to update maps and software. Setup and install was straightforward.
I’ve scheduled a weeks tour in and around Wales this summer, so I am yet to experience how intuitive the device is with preloaded routes I’ve created online.
Asi nejlepší navigace na motorku co se dá aktuálně sehnat.
Dobře čitelný a ovladatelný display i v rukavicích, robustní provedení a co se funkcí týče, nemám vůbec žádné výtky.
Spárování s telefonem funguje výtečné.
Mapy perfektní a s funkcí Birdseye si můžete dodatečně stáhnout ve vysokém rozlišení úseky 17x17km, což není při ofroadu a bez signálu vůbec na škodu.
Při prvním spuštění bylo nutno připojit navigaci přes 12v autonabijecku aby se probrala (na usb nereagovala) a pro vypnutí demoverze je třeba se s navigací projít pár metrů venku.

It is a much better satnav than anything I've owned before (zumo 660, zumo 340 & Montana) it's more like a tablet as once you hook it up to your phone you can download routes on the move. Great unit

Leider sehr viele Empfangsstörungen und ich teste noch, woran es liegt. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und der Prozessor gegenüber vielen Vorgängermodellen wesentlich schneller.
Störend ist, dass die Trackaufzeichnung immer wieder neu gestartet werden muss und nicht automatisch gestartet wird. Die Navihalterung ist sehr locker, aber hier hat Garmin eine Nachbesserung versprochen.

In August I crossed Portugal in Offroad following tracks on Garmin Zumo XT, its works brilliant. After that, I was travelling in Pirineus, 100% road and I can say with this GPS we can do offroad/on road perfectly! I reccomend to everyone this GPS.

am 04.06. hatte ich eine Mail an FC Moto geschickt, da ich das Original der Rechnung benötige und nicht nur die Kopie.
Leider kam bis jetzt noch keinerlei Rückmeldung. Heute ist der 18.06. , bin gespannt ob es eine Reaktion gibt.
Vielleicht kann man irgendwo den Händler bewerten, ich warte aber erst mal ab ...

Funktioniert wie gedacht
Hatßbe natürlich noch kein Lnagzeittest gemacht aber hat mich über 2000km bei 37 grad nicht im Stich gelassen. Die Funktionen in Verbindung mit Garmin Drive sind hammer. Ohne App entfällt Stauumfahrung und aktuelle Blitzer. Alle Features hab ich genutzt und sind auch zu 100% nutzbar. Bin begeistert hoffe das Gerät wird lange halten.

Einfach ein top Gerät, Inbetriebnahme unkompliziert Bedingung ebenfalls sehr intuitiv. Ein Glas klares Display was such auch bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung super ablesen lässt. Die Bedienung mit Handschuhen ist auch perfekt. Ich bereue den Wechsel absolut garnicht.

Great unit but not the one I purchased from you, which is being sent back. It was not clear to me when I purchased it that it only contained maps and other data for Europe. It was not possible even to update much of the data. It was basically useless to me as it was. North American buyers beware!!

Great GPS with some room for improvement in the app department
Great GPS with some app issues. Not compatoble with garmin explore and need to sync via drive app. Very odd and cumbersome to set-up. Once app gods decide you have struggled enough seems to work flawlessly. Expect to spend some frustrating hours in set-up.
Sehr gutes Display, schneller Chip, leichte Schwächen
Keine richtige Anleitung, an die Bedienung muss man sich erst gewöhnen. Display sehr gut zu lesen, leider sind die kleinsten Strassen von Feldwegen kaum zu unterscheiden. Routenführung möchte ich für meinen Geschmack gerne noch detaillierter auf die Strassengrösse einstellen können, ist leider nicht möglich, ich ändere darum ständig die geplante Strecke. Vielleicht habe ich noch nicht alle Möglichkeiten ausgeschöpft und muss noch ein wenig üben. Trotzdem tolles Teil, kein Vergleich mehr mit meinem 660, das hat nun ausgedient. Zu empfehlen ist ein Blendrahmen gegen Sonneneinstrahlung.
Super Navigationsgerät
Es ist das beste Navigationsgerät in Sachen Routing, Offroad und Navigation. Auch in Verbindung mit Sena 30K (sehr gute Lautstärke) und mit anderen Peripheriegeräten (Handy, Garmin 735 XT) klappt eine gute, stabile und dauerhafte Verbindung.
Tolles Gerät
Es ist mein erstes Navi überhaupt und ich habe schon mehrere Touren damit bestritten. Touren planen und sich vom Navi leiten lassen läuft beides wunderbar, die Zusatzinformationen wie POI und Restaurants sind unterwegs hilfreich. Für mich war es eine gute Investition.

Snadné ovládání, perfektní čitelnost i na slunci, jednoduchost funkcí, Snadné aktualizace. Jako slabší bych hodnotil držák, neustále mám pocit, že navigace je špatně zacvaknutá a z držáku vypadne. Z toho důvodu bych přivítal nějaké očko nebo dírku na těle navigace pro protažení zabezpečovací šňůrky.

Adaptation un peu longue, nombreuses options, les alertes sonores sont très gênantes, à désactiver impérativement.
Création d'itinéraire un peu compliqué.
Écran très lumineux et lisible. L'utilisation de gants ne gêne pas mais la pression à exercer sur l'écran doit être bien marquée.

Op basis van alle positieve reviews dit apparaat gekocht omdat het scherm groter is als van Tomtom. Was een grote teleurstelling en daarom geretourneerd (was blij dat ik er vanaf was).
Apparaat is langzaam, werkt niet intuïtief, heeft oud model oplaadpoort en de autobevestiging is niet beschikbaar met oplaadfunctie. Tevens is het binnenhalen van routes nog steeds erg omslachtig.
Waarschijnlijk handig voor die paar mensen die offroad rijden, maar verder blijft Tomtom het absolute benchmark.

Der Erste Eindruck ist schon mal super
Es gibt aber auch (bis jetzt) noch ein paar "Fehler" in der Software, wie zum Beispiel das man das nervige Gepiepse vor jeder offiziellen Geschwindigkeitsänderung nicht ausschalten kann. Laut GARMIN wird dies aber mit dem nächsten SW Update behoben.

Installé sur une R18 Classic, cet appareil, en liaison avec un smartphone équipé du logiciel Garmin Drive est bien supérieur aux systèmes de navigations livrés sur les motos BMW et Honda récentes !
Bad choice of screen technology
The Zuno XT's features are great. However, I'm quite disappointed to find out that it does not work with my gloves. Old GPS units used to have a pressure-sensitive screen which would work with any gloves. The new unit has a capacitor screen, like a smartphone, which is an awkward solution for use on a motorcycle.

Bin schon im Besitz mehrerer GARMIN Produkte (Fitnessuhr, Auto Navi) und war bislang immer sehr zufrieden mit der gebotenen Qualität und Haptik. Wenn es auch nicht immer die günstigste Variante ist.
Klassisches Zumo mit modernem Bildschirm
Als einzig positiv empfand ich den kontrastreichen und hellen Bildschirm. Der Umgang mit mehreren Karten mag möglich sein. Ich empfand ihn als so umständlich und restriktiv, dass ich das Gerät zurück geschickt habe. Die ganzen Multimedia-Fähigkeiten nutze ich ohnehin nicht.
Ich bleibe bei meinem Montana 600 und erneuere gegebenenfalls auf ein Montana 700.

Das teuererste und vermutlich schlechteste Navigationsgerät. BaseCamp ein Greuel. Motorrad als Profil darf man nicht einstellen, nur Auto. Sonst fährt der von der geplanten Route ab. Woher soll ein Bediener das wissen ? Das nur mal so als ein Beispiel. Heute Schnittstelle defekt. Ich werde es weg.

I have used this satnav in car as well (rent a car in Sicily). When I came in some narrow streets, cellphone had ''freezed'' and ''recalculating'', but for Zumo XT there were no issues to find right direction.
I would highly recomend this satnav!

Geräte entspricht im großen und ganzen meinen Erwartungen. Mit der Motorrad-Halterung bin ich nicht zufrieden. Sie sollte so konstruiert sein, daß es nicht runterfällt, wenn es ausrastet. So habe ich mein Zumo 550 verloren.

Navi działa bez problemu, nawet w słoneczne dni widać bardzo dobrze. Przesyłka była koszmar po dwóch tygodniach topiero dotarła A było pisane że max 3 dni.Dlatego trzy gwiazdki.

Trotz guter Funktionen sehr mäßig umgesetzt und Buggy
Neben einigen Funktionen, die im deutschen Markt nicht anwendbar sind ist es nützlich. Routen sind in Apps wie Calimoto deutlich leichter zu Programmieren.
Bugs: Hat sich einmal aufgehängt. Benötigt manchmal einen Neustart um die Verbindung zum Headset/Smartphone zu bekommen und manchmal sagt es trotz Verbindung keine Navigationsaansagen an, bis die Verbindung getrennt und wiederhergestellt wurde, dann holt es alle Ansagen auf einen Rutch nach....
