These must be the most comfortable motorcycle boots ever. From the moment I got them out of the box the fit was great. In fact they're so comfortable, I sometimes don't feel like taking them off. Upon arrival at the office for instance. You can literally just walk around all day in it and they will not cause you any pain or pressure staying on your feet all day long.

They do come with a catch: After riding for half an hour in the pouring rain, water starts to seep in through the toe area. And once that water gets in, it just sucks in more and more water... I bought these boots essentiallyt, because I had BMW motorrad boots (brown leather) that had the same issue. The BMW boots were also meant to be waterproof. This meant that once they got wet they were extremely difficult to dry out. The result was a pair of boots that smelled like dead animals. I really hope these Gaerne won't get the same issue, because I like them so much. Personally I don't think an exchange is going to solve the issue, because if the BMW boots had them ( en the ones that smelled like cadavers was already a replacement for the same issue) I can only guess that it has to do with the way these boots are constructed. I'd say the water comes in from the toebox via the stichting of the layers of the sole. If they don't start to smell that bad, I'm going to circumvent the issue with waterproof socks.
