How it works
John Doe Rambler is a classic leather boot designed specifically for riding motorcycles with all the important features required of a modern motorcycle shoe. The combination of genuine cowhide and added XTM-Fiber ® membrane (fiber technology made from DuPont ™ Kevlar® Coolmax® and Lycra®) give this boot its high functionality and the respective protection in extreme conditions. So the Rambler by John Doe provides additional abrasion protection over regular leather motorcycle shoes. Another feature is the John Doe Threepoint-Protection, providing additional reinforcement to protect the ankle, heel and front.
All motorcycle shoes of course also have a "waterstop function" (like trekking and hiking shoes), i.e. the tongue is designed to prevent water from quickly seeping into the shoe at the laces. An oil-resistant, vibration absorbing non-slip sole is also standard on our John Doe motorcycle shoes. The beautiful vintage leather with contrasting stitching and the JDM metal emblem on the tab round off the design of our "Rambler".

Technology:
XTM-Fiber® provides the perfect balance of extreme protection and highest wearing comfort. The outer layer, made of DuPont Kevlar® aramid fibres, offers the highest protection in the case of a fall. The inner Coolmax® fibre blends regulate the skin temperature and fit perfectly to the wearer.
A layer of Coolmax® on the inside of the XTM-Fiber™ facilitates the outward transport of moisture and helps you not to break a sweat, even on long tours.
Almost all of our collection pieces are strengthened with armour. The special foam nestles up to you perfectly with slow movements, with faster strain however, it is rock hard. Our knee, pelvis, and back armour are therefore extremely comfortable and protect brilliantly.
So that a light rain shower and a bit of dirt don’t immediately spoil the whole tour, our jeans are coated with a dirt and water-repellent.

I bought this boots because I like the look, the leather is of good quality and they look very robust but after 1 months of use and a few rains in the in the motorcycle the leather start to detach from the sole so with the minimum rain my feet got wet
So if you are looking for the style they are great. If you look for good shoes that can keep you feet dry and that last long this boots are not for you.
We want everything to fit right . Take some quick measurements if you are unsure of your current clothes size. The most accurate measurements will be those you take in your underwear, applying the measuring tape directly to your body.
