Icon Cloverleaf 2 Knee protectors

Modern riders demand new solutions to the challenges of the urban environment. Constructed from a 900d polyester chassis and equipped with D3O impact protectors and TPU knee cap, the Cloverleaf 2 offers dramatically increased knee coverage. Adjustable straps keep the protection securely in place, while a replaceable knee slider provides a third point of contact.

My review above. Rated poor. Unfortunately the sliders were supplied with the pucks in the wrong way around. Now they are on correctly everything lines up as it should. Shame they didn’t come that way.

I bought these to replace my cheap Komine Racing sliders that are the same over the trouser harness type. In comparison the Cloverleaf ones are virtually unusable. They don’t stay in the correct place on my knee. The knee slider is in the wrong place, and points too much to the front, rather than at a 45 degree angle between front and side, and they are heavy. I haven’t even bothered with them on the bike as I know they’re gonna be more of a hindrance than anything. Very disappointed.
