I generally don't do track days. I am however a spirited rider so wanted adequate protection during weekend rides and wet protection during touring. The boot is really as per the size described. The comfort level is great. However it did take about 3-4 rides to break in. Now it is really comfortable. One will feel a lit bit of difference in reaching the gear and brakes depending on the what shoe you were wearing before. However I did not have to do any adjustments at all. The leg feels well protected, After breakin period, I could walk comfortably as well .Not for a mountain hike or in gravel though as the sole is made for street and due to CE rating is tough (which is what I wanted). Only one post purchase consideration is that if one does not do track days, the GoreTex option can also be considered for a slightly higher price. However I am confident that Alpinestar Drystar will be equally good protection from wet. GoreTex may breath better during summer months.
