The gloves were better than expected cementing my view of Alpinestars as being a premier motorcycle brand ( I recently purchased one of their Drystar Jackets which is fantastic, however, quite expensive at $600 Australian dollars.) I have used them a couple of times in very cold weather and also in rain and they have held up very well keeping my hands as warm as possible from a non-heated glove and also not becoming heavy and wet. The only minor gripe is that the cuff could be another centimetre longer as it only just goes over my jacket cuff. On a side note, I have purchased many winter gloves seeking out the warmest I could find for a medium price (these latest ones being the best so far), however, I feel nothing will compare to a gortex or heated glove which I have yet to try due to cost.
