The Garmin Zumo 345LM is great follow-Up to the robust, functional and dependable Zumo 340LM. It fully compatible with the 340's cradle systems. It has every necessary function for a Touring and/or Commuting Motorcycle Rider and even for Car Drivers. It also functions as a walk-a-bout Sat/Nav as well. It has a few new search approachs to basic functions, so read the manual. I have been advised by a Sat/Nav Technician that like most systems it is not 100% waterproof. Its main weakness in this regard may be overcome by placing a thin line of silacone along the edges of the screen, (the base in particular). I understand that this weakness may only arise if the unit is exposed to constant heavy torrential rain for a long duration, or submerged in water for a while. The System comes complete with a number of well made mounting systems. It is faster and brighter than its predecessor.
