I'd heard people extolling the virtues of cheaper motorcycle gear, that spending £1000+ on a textile suit was a waste of money, 300 is enough. So off I went to try on some local cheaper brands. As I was trying on the trousers off popped the fasteners (and no they weren't too small). There goes that theory. Next I tried on the more expensive stuff. Rukka with an eye watering price tag, but gore-tex pro shell. This stuff oozes quality and will keep you dry and warm (trousers at least). I have commuted through winter 600 miles a week and these trousers have been very comfortable. Only wishing I'd bought the jacket too. I cannot recommend highly enough, and FC Moto has an excellent sales and customer service dept plus keen prices compared to the UK and you still get your 5 year warranty. Why wouldn't you buy the best?
Very good product, maybe the best you can find.(10.02.2014)

I had Rukka before, got into an accident so I had to buy new. First bought another, cheaper brand, but did not get on with them, so now I've got Rukka Armas again and am very satisfied.
Excellent product and good value(04.09.2012)

This is a top quality product. It may be expensive but this is a step above all the other kit such as the Hein Gericke touring products. It is durable and yet comfortable. Being such an appalling summer in the UK it has been tested in intense torrential downpours as well as 6 hours plus in the saddle of steady rain with not even a hint of a leak. I suspect it will literally last me a lifetime. I am quite tall at 186cm and long on the leg so it was good to be able to choose accordingly. The knee armour sits true and is comfortable. The special pad on the seat gives a stable feel in the saddle too. I was slightly apprehensive as it was such a large sum to lay out but the communications and service were excellent and I am extremely pleased with them and glad I took the plunge!
