1st experience w/SENA communications and the reason for the Schuberth helmet was the integrated system. The setup and paring instructions are difficult and confusing at best - managed to pair helmets, but the music sharing JUST DOESN'T WORK - disappointed.

Har inte kört med hjälmen eller SC1 men kan i detta läge säga att det är lätt att installera, ljudet är fantastiskt. Schubert hjälmen ger ett mycket gott intryck, dock kan skyddet under hakan kännas lite tajt och ovanligt men tror att man vänjer sig.

The communication system is vary nice and you need time to use it, but Sam time it’s work directly with smart phone and sum time switch to me motorcycle TFT screen ,
still I done now how to link me garmin GPS and my motorcycle TFT screen and my smartphone and work together with helmet communication system with out any lags,

This is a very poorly designed product with a lot of compatibility issues
The idea of having integrated communications seemed great, this implementation doesn't work well. The buttons are tricky to press with gloves on, connectivity is difficult (many of the guys I ride with have Sena) and generally frustrating. The C4 helmet is great, why put rubbish communications system in it Schuberth?

Das Gerät lässt sich perfekt im Helm installieren. Die technischen Möglichkeiten lassen keine Wünsche offen, die man an ein modernes Kommunikationssystem stellt.
Die Anbindung die Komponenten (Handy, Navi und 2. Helm haben problemlos geklappt. Erste Erfahrungen im Handling stehen noch aus.

Buon prodotto, facile da montare sul casco, mi aspettavo qualcosa in più sulla connettività verso il mondo non "SENA". pazienza. Avendo solo un casco Schuberth non lo uso come l'interfono, comunque suono chiaro anche a velocità autostradale. Sono complessivamente soddisfatto.

Der Einbau ist kinderleicht und in einer Minute erledigt! :-)
Die Bedienung über die nur zwei Tasten mit sämtlichen Kombinationen und Reihenfolgen erfordert leider etwas Eingewöhnung. Nachdem man es verstanden hat ist die Bedienung, auch während der Fahrt, kein Problem.
Der Klang vom RDS-Radio und via BT (Musik, Navi) ist wirklich recht gut und telefonieren funktioniert ebenfalls prima. Gegensprechen mit anderen Personen konnte ich leider noch nicht testen. Abstriche muss man naturgemäß bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten machen, da die Windgeräusche folglich gegen die Lautstärke der Lautsprecher arbeiten.
Wichtig ist noch ggf. die Lautsprecher im Helm so zu verschieben, dass die Ohrmuschel korrekt getroffen wird.
Alles in Allem eine Empfehlung wert!
Ich vergebe 4 Sterne wegen der Bedienung.

Utilizaba antes el sistema BT de Midland junto con el casco C3. El SC1 tiene un acabado excelente, el sonido es bastante bueno y la integración de todo el sistema en el casco es genial. Lo que me está costando algo, es habituarme al manejo a través de los dos botones. Los botones son demasiado pequeños para encontrarlos bien con los guantes puestos. Por lo demás estoy muy contento con el sistema y lo puedo recomendar

C4 Proに組み込んで使用した。
良い点は、音質が良く、耳栓をしても聴こえるだけの十分な音量があること。そして、ナビ（Zumo)やiPhoneとの接続が速く、日常的な設定を変更しない使用では、非常に良い。ラジオの感度も想像以上に良い。
悪い点は、
１．付属の文書が少なく、Schuberthからダウンロードしないと、全機能を知ることさえできないこと。
２．ボタンを押す時間がマニュアルと異なり、また、間違った押し方をすると、どの状態か分からなくなり、期待した動作をしなくなる。スイッチを切って、リセットする必要があった。
３．外部騒音で音量を変化させる場合、音量が極端に小さくなってしまう。
４．多機能だが、各機能の説明と、設定後の設定状態からの通常状態への変更の説明が不十分。
５．本体のボタンでできることと、PCに接続してできることの区別が明確に示されていない。

C'est un bon système de communication invisible et performant dans l'ensemble !
Néanmoins, ce produit SENA avec RADIO ne me permet pas encore d’avoir les instructions vocales du téléphone par Bluetooth provenant d’application GPS ou autre si la radio est activée.
SENA aurait donc priorisé la radio par rapport aux informations de sécurité pour le motard.
Mauvaise configuration ? Mauvais réglage ? Attente d'une nouvelle MAJ... ?
Interesting physical design concept
Design concept of integration into the helmet deserves some points I think. Some best designs are ones you can't tell are there. Still testing Bluetooth fxn. Feels like folks purchasing this relatively high-priced item are subsidizing the cost of the integrated antenna and speakers in all C4 helmets for those who don't buy the SC-1.

Der Einbau in den. 4 war ein Kinderspiel.
Das koppeln mit IPhone und Navigator 6 funktionierte auf Anhieb. Bisher keine Verbindungsabbrüche. Der Radioempfang ist gut. das Vornehmen von Änderungen über App und Mac funktioniert.
Die optionale Fernbedienung ist eine sehr sinnvolle Erweiterung.

Ein Muss für den C4
Das *Schuberthisierte" Sena System passt perfekt in die "Buchsen" des C4. Die Steuerung ist allerdings sehr weit hinten am linken, hinteren Helmrand. Darum drängt sich der Kauf der dafür vorgesehenen Fernbedienung auf. Sena scheint der Marktleader und innovativster Hersteller von Motorrad Intercom. Aber vieles steckt noch in den Kinderschuhen und funktioniert noch nicht so, wie propagiert. Allerdings, wird die Post abgehen, wenn mal alle Kinderkrankheiten kuriert sind. Auch das Koppeln mit fremden Produkten klappt erstaunlich gut, selbst wenn man einander auf der Strecke "verloren" und wiedergefunden hat.

It does more than what I expected. If you're going on a long ride with friends, you can simply bring extra batteries and replace them when the battery runs low. Unlike my current comms, you have to plug in and recharge. Plus, no nasty installation. It's truly plug-and-play.

Very easy installation and quick setup. The sound in my Schuberth C4 helmet is excellent. Have had issues with the intercom disconnecting sometimes but nothing more than a minor nuisance.

The product quality is very high (as expected from Schuberth) the app still needs to be improved, it looks 'oldish' and causes the helmet to disconnect while using the app (Android)
While listening to the radio (only in the 'advanced' model) it sometimes disconnects.
The battery is endless though the 'low battery' vocal alert is triggered too late (in my opinion) this caused me to ride to work without a mobile connection

Vengo de la marca Cardo y pase a Sena en un Shoei Neotec 2.
En este modelo muy bien integrado, ya me pareció más complicado de usar que el cardo. A parte de no tener comandos por voz en español. También me parece que el sonido es peor. Perso si encima le quitamos un botón en la versión del Schuberth la cosa se complica y mucho. A su favor la fácil instalación. Que la batería esté separada y pueda cambiarse con facilidad.

Easy to set up, and with no external module it looks great. One of the best features is the removable battery that can be charged separate from the helmet, and a second battery can be carried and swapped out to extend the life of the system. The system also provides excellent clear phone calling just like if I were in my office.

Zatím vyzkoušeno pouze při párování s mobilním telefonem - vše funguje bez problémů. Uvidíme v sezóně, jak bude fungovat při párování s dalším zařízením. Každopádně integrace interkomu do helmy je skvělé řešení - nikde žádná "bradavice" na helmě.

- controling while driwing is not very comfort and safe

- when I close helmet flip rapidly - battery connection lost
They should give remote control to the package automaticaly,
battery last much longer than Interphone F5MC,
even so, there should be some battery condition gauge
(may be in app). Price is too high for this processing quality.

A little hard to use
I haven't had an opportunity to use the helmet to helmet communications yet but the phone connection for music and phones calls works well. The unit itself is very easy to install but if you wear gloves while riding it is hard to feel the buttons to make adjustments. But I guess that is why they make a remote control accessory.

Great adition to the C4 Helmet
I purchased the SC1 Advanced communication system last month. The installation to my Schuberth C4 was very easy and the performance is great. The phone calls are clear to me and also to the caller, even at speeds over 100km/h. In the city where I use the radio all the time and quality is very good. I have not used the intercom function yet, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work very well.

I have used Sena coms for the past 7 years and I am very satisfied with this one. It is a great addition to my Schuberth C4 Pro. It can be a bit difficult to extract all the functions out of two buttons though. Worth the investment.

Integration with Schuberth C4 Helmet was very easy. Battery life seems good. Have not tried the unit with more than two devices paired and one other rider on intercom. Sound qualith is excellent. Range is very good. Price on the unit was very good, and shipping was fast, and even with DHL shipment cost from England, the price was less expensive than buying here in the US.

Funciona muy bien, se oye perfectamente, pero es caro e incomodo manejar los botones con guantes y realiza todas las funciones con dos botones, por lo q tienes q acordarte d todo el monton d funciones. Wir sind momentan etwas enttäuscht vom SC1. Unsere Helme (mit Sozia) sind gekoppelt wie es beschrieben wird. Wenn meine Sozia beginnt zu reden, dann höre ich zuerst immer ein Gemurmle von hinter mir, bevor mir die Intercom den Text sendet. Alles sehr zeitversetzt. Dies funktionierte mit unserem alten SRC-System von Cardo wesentlich besser.

Gut integriert
Das Kommunikationssystem fügt sich sehr gut in den Helm ein. Die beigefügte Bedienungsanleitung hat zumindest für mich nicht ausgereicht aber man kann ein ausführliches Handbuch bei Schuberth downloaden. Die Verbindung mit meinem tomtom funktionierte erst nicht, deshalb habe ich eine Firmware Aktualisierungen durchgeführt und konnte dann auch die Sprachausgabe auf Deutsch ändern. Das gleiche habe ich mit meinem Navi und auch direkt mit dem Handy und danach funktionierte die Verbindung tadellos. Was mich stört ist die Bedienung während der Fahrt. Die Tasten sind sehr klein und weit hinten am Helm. Mit Handschuhen kann ich sie gar nicht bedienen und ohne Handschuhe nur sehr schwer. Da könnte die Fernbedienung Abhilfe schaffen aber dafür werden dann nochmal 89 € fällig.

Trata-se de um sistema efetivamente de qualidade, mas não é possível de instalar noutros capacetes de igual marca, nem em modelos seguintes da mesma gama. A marca já me está fidelizada, mas a compra destes sistemas deixam-me sempre desconfortável (€€€€€!!).

Lieferung kam schnell und gut Verpakt bei mir an. Der Einbau in den Helm funktionierte ausgezeichnet und ohne Probleme. Als nächstes kam die verbindung zum Handy und dann mit dem Navi beides klappte hervorragen und sehr schnell. Die ersten Tests liefen gut nur Fahrtest habe ich noch nicht durchgeführt.

It's beeen 1 month with the sc1 advanced. Combination with Schuberth C4 pro is seamless of course. Satisfactory sound level up to 130 km/h.

The communications performs as expected. It connects easily with phones and GPS units. The installation was very easy and the instructions were straight forward. I have not connected to other systems but I expect that the unit will perform as expected. A very useful communications system - the sound quality is very good and phone connection is easy to understand. The music and FM radio quality is very good. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

I haven't had a really good road trip with SC-1a installed in the helmet, so my review is a bit limited at this time. Installation was a breeze. Pairing to my phone and remote were both very easy and I think pairing to other systems will be just as easy. The app works well and firmware updating was once again really easy. The buttons on the helmet to operate the system will take some practice to use while riding. I think it could be done, but in this case not easily. Because of that I got the remote. It works well in some ways, but can be finicky. Some reviews I read said the FM didn't work, mine works great. All in all I'm quite happy with my purchase. Now I just have to figure out how to store my music in my phone and use the bluetooth feature.

Das System ist natürlich schön klein, leider haben die Tasten durch ihre Mehrfachfunktion so ihre Tücken. Das fängt schon mit dem ersten Verbinden an: at leider nicht geklappt; auch Schubert konnte nicht helfen und verwies auf Sena - da werden Sie geholfen! Aber auch hier musste man zuerst die Beschreibung "entschuldigen"! Man sollte immer Laien anhand der Beschreibung ran lassen, bevor diese dem Produkt beigefügt werden !!!
Nun denn, es hat dann "irgendwann" mit Hilfe der Fernbedienung funktioniert - sehr unbefriedigend. Der Klang ist auf jeden Fall hörbar schlechter als unser Sena 30K und daher ist das System nicht sonderlich empfehlenswert. Unpraktisch ist auch das Laden: entweder am Helm verbleibend oder mit einer Klammer herauszunehmen. Nun denn, es gibt also noch Entwicklungspotential ;-)

Mittelmäßige Leistung...
Betreibe das Modul mit einem Iphone Xs. Die Verbindung wird ständig gekappt und das Hören von Musik via Bluetooth funktioniert eher mäßig. Die Akkustik vor allem für Musik ist schlecht aber dafür wurde die Sache ja wohl auch nicht gebaut.
Das Mikrofon wurde etwas versteckt eingebaut was für den Schutz des Mikros gut ist aber man muss deshalb ganz ordentlich die Stimmbänder strapazieren um verstanden zu werden. Der Akku hält sicherlich nicht so lange, wie angegeben.
Fazit: erfüllt die Funktion der Kommunikaton wenn die Koppelung mit dem Telefon ordentlich hält.

Sprachwidergabe und Sprachqualität sind gut
Radioempfang ist während der Fahrt einfach schlecht. Liegt einfach daran, dass die Antenne durch den Kopf abgeschirmt wird. War auch zu erwarten, da die Antenne in der Helmschale verbaut ist. Lautsprecher sind gut zu hören bis 100 km/h. Darüber hinaus wird es schwierig. Bedienung ist durch die Mehrfachbelegung der Tasten sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Größe der Tasten ist nicht optimal, es wird viel Gefühl gebraucht um diese zu ertasten. Mit Sommerhandschuhen noch machbar. Preis/Leistung ist nicht gerechtfertigt.

少人数での使用なら素晴らしい
多機能ですが操作ボタンが2つしか無いため、コマンド入力の操作を覚える事が大変です。他のsenaとペアリングしましたが通話性能は良好です。性能の良し悪しはともかく、ヘルメットと完全に統合された外観も素晴らしいと思います。

Totally seamless and works well
My wife and I both got the the C4 Pro, so were looking for a seamless and integrated system. Love the helmets and love the SC1. It’s literally plug and play in the C4.

Fiddly to set-up but excellent once you have.
I have used this in conjunction with a Sena 10s which is very similar in its range of functions. The 10s however uses a jog dial while SC1 advanced only has two small buttons, which to be honest are hard to operate with gloves on. That said pairing devices was quick and simple (once you have figured out to get to the configuration menu) and the comm. is crystal clear. Many functions are done with voice command anyway (speaking loudly into the mic.) I often just set-up what I want at the start of the ride, music, sat-nav, intercom and then leave it. Anything beyond volume control is just too dangerous in my opinion to do whilst riding the bike. I often do my phone-call to say I'm setting off with my helmet on... But I would never attempt to make a call, even using the speed dial, whilst riding. Same goes for changing radio stations. Would love to be able say 'ok google' and let my phone do the voice recognition work. That said, my R2 is the complete package with it and I would buy again if my modular helmet gets replaced by a C4.

Das SC1A ist eine optimale modulare Ergänzung für den Standard SCHUBERTH Helm. Mir gefällt vor allem die Integration IN den Helm, ohne die optisch störenden aufgesetzten Module. Ich nutze das SC1A in Verbindung mit BMW Connected Motorrad - Übertragung von Musik und Navi Sprachansagen ist absolut störungsfrei, Telefonie habe ich tatsächlich noch nicht probiert.
Lobenswert ist auch die Akku Laufzeit. Ist jetzt schon wiederholt passiert dass ich das SC1A nach dem Ausflug nicht ausgeschaltet habe, der Stromverbrauch im Standby ist kaum bemerkbar. Am Anfang hat mich der Preis etwas abgehalten - jetzt bin ich recht froh über die Investition

L'interfono presenta tutte le caratteristiche di connettività di cui un motociclista necessita. Inizialmente la programmazione e le funzioni disponibili, soprattutto provenendo da interfoni di altri marchi, non sono facilmente comprensibili. Leggendo il manuale e con un po' di pratica si riesce a gestire meglio. Consiglio assolutamente il telecomando venduto singolarmente come accessorio RC10, anche se non è proprio economico.

Schuberth SC1A: Nach nur vier Jahren die USB-Buchse für die Aufladung defekt. Kommentar von Schuberth: Nicht reparabel, Garantiezeit leider abgelaufen; keine Art von Kulanz oder sonstige Raktion. Sprachqualität des Intercom ist stark verbesserungsbedürftig und die Sprakverbindung zum Navi (Garmin) ist oft so verzerrt, dass man's nicht mehr versteht: Kann vom Kauf des C4 in Verbindung mit SC1 nur abraten.

Pequeño, manejable, perfecta integración en el casco Schuberth C4; con radio FM, buena conectividad con móviles y con el sistema Connected Ride de BMW, y el sonido multimedia es de calidad. Como pequeñas críticas, la utilidad para PC debiera ser más amigable, y hay que trabajarse el funcionamiento del dispositivo, pero esto es normal al ser algo tan pequeño y disponer sólo de los botones + y - para manejarlo.
Por último, precio adecuado y envío perfecto por parte de FC Moto.

Wie soll man es sagen... es ist Geschmackssache.
Ich mag den satten Klang von Musik. Die Lautsprecher im Helm sind ok, man versteht während der Fahrt alles gut, aber sie sind sehr schwach auf der Brust - der Bass ist quasi nicht vorhanden.
Das Mikro, bzw. die Software dahinter ist ausgezeichnet. Die Gesprächspartner fragen jedesmal ungläubig, ob ich wirklich gerade Moped auf der Autobahn fahre. Die Geräuschfilterung und der Klang sind trotz der seitlichen Anbringung des Mikros also sehr gut. Mir gefällt es kein Schwanenhalsmikro vorm Gesicht zu haben.
Zur kritisierten Fummeligkeit der Knöpfe kann nicht besonders viel sagen. Laut & Leise geht während der Fahrt ohne Probleme. Die Fülle an sonstigen Tastenkombinationen muss man sich eben merken. Mein Handy ist direkt vor mir am Lenker verbaut und ich bediene Musik, Telefon & Navi direkt darauf.
Einrichten & Verbinden der App war problemlos.

A little difficult to get all functions working at first especially the radio but the user manual is clear. Everything works as it should and the radio is excellent. It is worth paying the extra for the advanced system which has FM radio.

Vadí mi, že ovládání není moc intuitivní, bez návodu se zřejmě neobejdete. Dále po zapnutí je nastavena plná hlasitost, po naběhnutí je už nastavena nižší. Jinak funkčně fungují velice dobře.

For group riding the Sena comms is useless - use Cardo
The Schuberth helmet is difficult to replace the Sena unit for Cardo Systems one. The Sena comms unit is rubbish for group riding but the Cardo one is considerably better. Swapping is difficult because the Schuberth has the hardware for the comms built into the helmet requiring the helmet interior to be removed - it can however be done. The JBL speakers are also a lot better with the Cardo. I would never buy a Sena product again.

Nice bluetooth communication set up!
There's a lot of fiddling around to set up and manipulating the buttons for control seemed awkward. There also seems a lot to remember to facilitate full use of all the functions. But bear with it, as soon as you get the hang of it it's a lovely unit. Would suggest buying with the remote control, otherwise use of buttons for base unit would be difficult with gloves on.

I purchased it to use with my Held C4 helmet. It has fitted easily and it’s very easy to install. I have also installed the mobile phone app. A new upgrade should be installed via a computer before the first use. This is warned by the phone app and there are video guides how to do it. Sound generated form this device is quite satisfactory and works well with the helmet’s pre-equipment. I am quite glad of buying this product. Thanks...

Excellent product, everything works well (radio, multi-source bluetooth and also it pairs with my noname chinese bluetooth walkie-talkie dongle).
It has only two buttons with multiple functions/combinations, so you need to take SC10U remote control, it makes usage of SC1 easier.

Nun die Nachteile: FM Radio mehr schlecht wie recht. Sehr schlechter Empfang. Analoge Radios im Auto sind viel besser.
Bei Audio sind 100% Höhen und 0% Bass vorhanden. Regeln lässt sich leider nichts. Auf Dauer sehr unangenehm für meine Ohren. Ansagen haben dagegen wieder eine gute Audio Qualität.
