Shark Race-R Pro Corser Replica 2012のお客様評価
My previous Helmet was a Shark RSI. I still have it, but since I'm riding more trackdays, it was time to upgrade to a new, fresh, WSBK spec helmet.
And the Shark Race-R pro is just that.
When I first tried on the helmet, I was a bit shocked. It dit not fit my head the way the Shark RSI did. But after 3 days riding, the helmet felt like it was moulded to my head.
The Visor gives good visibility, but because of the thickness of the material there is a small deviation when looking all the way to your left or right.
The ventilation in the helmet is excellent. If you open up all the vents, there is this cool breeze all along your head, keeping you cool and focussed. The vent on the front takes in a good amount of fresh air, and keeps out bugs and dust with the inserted filter.
The helmet has a very good aerodynamic design. At first I was a little sceptical about the use of the spoiler. But now, having it tried on track at high speeds, I can definitely say it's a big plus. This helmet is amazingly stable. No wobbling of the head at speeds over 160mph/240kph. Not even when you are mid corner, hanging off your bike with your head next to the windscreen.
The helmet is a bit loud.. but since I always wear earplugs, this is not a big deal. For sakes, it is a racing helmet and not a touring/chit-chat helmet.
The Troy Corser design is beautiful. It has a lot of flakes and even some glow in the dark area's which light up blue in the complete dark. It also has a pearlscelent paint, which changes colors between green and purple depending on the view angle.
The only thing I don't like is that it does not come in the Tom Sykes 2012/2013 design. But that's just me.
