I bought the boots a year ago, and they are so cool in style that I am wearing them on the street as well! They needed a short break in time, as they were stiff at the beginning, and gave me some bruises on my left shin for a week. After the break in period (about one week) they became so comfortable as wearing slippers at home. The soles are not too stif, so they are very easy and comfortable to walk in. You would think this negatively impacts the protection ability, but actually it provides really good protection. It has proper toe cage, hill guard and ankle cups. The large zippers are a BIG pro, I can zip it in even with winter gloves. Also, once I set the correct tension with the laces, I dont have to touch the laces again, I can simply put on the boots with the zippers. Rain protection is also very good, I had a few rains during the 2500+ kilometers I rode this boots in, and my feet always stayed dry. Of course I trwated the boots with impregner. so that might be the case why. Would I rebuy it again? YES! For the sub EUR 200 price this is a very good deal. I use these boots for walking, I use them in the office, for commuting and on short and long trips as well! Actually these are my main boots, especially for the summer as they are not too hot, like other boots!
