The only issue with this item is with the glues and stitching, or I should say "il temperamento" is quite a well-known hand-made-in-Italy feature. Other than such kind of minor flaws, I am really satisfied with the built quality of Gaerne boots. The form of both sides are well-balanced, robust but not bulky, silicone sprays may get rid of the squeaks from the polymer ankle pivots. During the break-in period, the boots give a tighter feel than that from fellow Italian manufacturers such as Alpinestars and TCX, but after some time of use they bed in properly and I love the supporting features very much. The degree of ankle movement is nothing more or less than adequate, with some sorts of flexibility I feel comfortable when riding on bikes with both OEM and racing rearsets. But if you have a pair of thick feet or chubby calves, I recommend going one size up, also unpadded stockings are preferable. Gaerne does not entertain half size on GRW, and you might feel annoying when putting them on when it is brand new. I still have no chance to try it out in pouring rain conditions, but in daily commuting situation it is a pair of out-and-out waterproof boots, it is an item which makes me feel glad. En plus, I am also happy with FC Moto, they come up to my inquiries immediately, and I will definitely be back again soon.

Качество могло быть лучше.На одном боте выступает размазанный клей у защиты носка под лапку переключения, у второго пятка собранная косо, короче некондиция, на фото защита носка металлическая, мне же пришли с пластиковой, нитки со швов выпирают, в некоторых местах придется оплавлять да самому доливать чтобы шов не расходился. По ощущениям один в области носка меньше другого и жмёт. Возможно такое качество связанно со скидкой или с тем где я проживаю(BY))

Son mäs para circuito, por lo de las protecciones de tobillo, yo las uso para carretera . espero que se vayan amoldando.

Pero las botas son una pasada de lo bien echas que estan y por la calidad .

Aún no las he probado en agua , pero no creo que aguanten mucho. Pero de secarse se secaran rapido al ser Waterfroo.

Habe normal Schuhgröße 42. Stiefel mit Größe 43 im Fuß zu eng, Reßverschluß bekomme ich nicht über den Knöchel (zu eng). Selbst bei Größe 44 bekomme ich den Reißverschluss nicht über den Knöchel und am Vorderfuß noch oben immer noch zu eng.

Une paire de botte de très bonne qualité
Le cuir souple et épais une fois au pied je suis bien protégé et perso je ne l'ai sent pas aux pieds.
Prendre une taille de plus car je chausse du 46 et le 47 C'est très bien.
C'est un modèle auquel je n est pas validé au début de ma recherche de botte mais franchement après plusieurs modèles essayé et bien les aquatech sont vraiment au dessus.

Покупаю такие ботинки второй раз. Первые купил в России, померив 47 подумал, что сидят туго, у меня 45,5 и высокий подьем, надо взять 48. Зря, они разносились и стали слишком свободные. Плюс 48 размер весьма длинные, цепляю ими асфалт. В итоге решил купить 47. Одеваются туго, но думаю разносятся. Купил бы и в России, но наши продавцы почему то считают что закупаться надо к сезону. Почему так, загадка. В сезон люди хотят кататься, а не искать экип по магазинам. Первые проехали примерно 40 000 километров. Несколько раз отдавал в ремонт. Слабое место подошва (в новых подошва другая, видимо производитель вкурсе проблемы). Стирается, отклеивается, но это началось после 3 сезона, то есть без проблем они проехали больше 20 000 километров. Несколько раз выручали в дтп. Потерялся один болт с шайбой, пришлось заменить. Лучше их выкрутить и посадить на фиксатор. Хотя они и так на синем фиксаторе. Начали пропускать воду тоже где то после 20 000 километров, в слабый дождь все нормально, сильный уже не держат (позже выяснилось что это из за подошвы, надеюсь с новой этог исчезло). Пока были новые, можно было в брод переходить ручьи. В жару больше 20 градусов, если ехать, то нормально проветриваются, если стоишь жарко. Мыл их полностью много раз, заливал внутрь воду с мылом - никаких проблем. Скрипят после мойки, приходится поливать силиконовой смазкой. В межсезонье обрабатывал и маслом и силиконовой смазкой и водоотталковающими спреями, в зависимости от тогл что под рукой, проблем с кожей нет. Пластик царапает краску, если штаны заправлять внутрь. Аналогичные Dainese, стоят дороже. В целом доволен.
Да, у новых слайдеры не железные, а пластиковые, но не думаю что это имеет хоть какое то значение в плане безопасности.

Substantial boots, good weight, decent materials. Floating system does not negatively impede movement and provides hard shell to both sides. Zips and vents resist splashed water, yet the boots are sufficiently breathable too - so suitable for most conditions. I'm a typical UK 10 and opted for the Euro 45 - perfect length, initially tight across the width, but moulded to my feet for a good close fit.
