game changer (12.01.2026)

Review after about 1,000 km and 1 month of use (November/December 2025).
I bought this jacket for commuting to work (about 30 km each way on fast roads, countryside, and city traffic) and, in general, living north of Milan in a busy area, for any kind of trip, including highway rides.
My evaluation of the jacket is absolutely positive: it has an independent padded liner and an outer shell made of Gore-Tex. I had never owned Gore-Tex before, but I can say that even riding in 0°C mornings, I had no issues with cold (at 10°C I start sweating!). With this jacket, rain is also no problem, and I don’t need an extra waterproof shell that makes me look like the Michelin man and forces me to carry a bunch of accessories… I just put on the jacket and go to the office: no endless layering.
Moreover, in terms of style, it’s quite presentable even off the bike: I arrive at the office and don’t look like I just finished the Paris-Dakar.
All this to say that I’m extremely satisfied with its winter performance. I come from the motorcycle world (KTM 990 SMT), but for work I decided to buy an X-Max 300. With this scooter equipped with a leg cover and heated grips, plus this jacket, there’s absolutely no reason not to use the scooter all year round; truly a game changer.
Almost Perfect (11.04.2022)

The Roblin is a perfectly styled jacket that can look normal but is packed with features. The vents work great, especially above 80 km/h. You'd need colder temperatures for the vents to seem like it is flowing air if you're traveling slower than that. Waterproofing is excellent - nothing less from gore-tex. I used this jacket to keep me bone dry for my commute to an interview and I still looked sharp when I arrived. Some nitpick I have is that the hood is a little finicky when you wear it under the helmet during a wet ride, especially with the peak. I just wished that they either remove the peak and make the hood thinner or make it a lot larger to fit over a helmet instead. One other thing is that I wished they had manufactured this in a smaller size. My chest and shoulder measurements were just nice for the smallest size but the sleeves were a little too long and baggy. I guess it's meant to allow users to layer up underneath but I don't need to in my tropical climate here. As a result, I ended up leaving the stock D3O armour in instead of switching out for the Ghost version to fill up the space. Otherwise, this is the perfect all-weather jacket.
