I have a big hand for a woman. Width 8.5cm, length from palm to fingers 10 cm. Ordered size L. The gloves were very stiff, hard to move/ flex palm. And less controllability on the throttle when I started wearing them. They need breaking in period. Very stiff leather. Palms got realy tired easily in the beginning. Also I managed to tear off the strap around the wrist for 1 glove. That can be fixed I guess.
