These pants have good grip along surfaces that make contact with your bike. Combined with the fit and waist closure and inside grip, these pants keep me feeling secure while riding. The thigh vent is surprisingly functional.
The knee pads fall below where they should lay and have no way of securing them in place within their pockets.
Very good(23.08.2022)

Very good design. Side protection pad and knee protection pad could be bigger, wish next version can be improved.
Stylish, but not the best in class(29.07.2021)

Well made but the fit is slim in hip an thigh so it limits your movement a bit. If you have slim thighs this product might work. I wear a size 36 in Klim Dakar and ordered XL short, to tight for me so XXL short would probably be ok. The included protectors are not very protective or comfortable but they do have pockets for protectors that you won´t find in Klim Dakar ITB. Klim Dakar Pants have superior fit, cargo and ventilation over the Peninsula. Only Real benefit with the Peninsula is the CE AA rating, styling and that it has pockets for protectors in the knees and hip that you don´t get in the Klim Dakar ITB version. But for abrasion i believe the Dakar might be better but Klim didn´t certify theirs.
Note that Revit CE2 protectors won´t fit in the pockets and Revit discurages you to fit SAS tech or D30 CE2 protectors as their Dirt series is meant to be worn with separate armour.
