Merlin Mahala Pro D3O Explorer Calças têxteis da motocicleta

I bought the entire set of gear, merlin jacket, pants, gloves, boots and helmet, amazing product, very well made. Cost over 2000$. Jacket, boots and helmet fit like a charm, gloves are tight and will need some breaking in, but the pants is a different story. According to the size chart I’m an XL which I had never been before, I’m a medium in everything I wear. Still, took a gamble and ordered the XL. They’re so oversized it’s not funny. I reordered the medium and tried to return the XL. The cost is so great that I might as well save time and burn them. Tried to contact customer service to get a printed return label but received a generic copy/pasted response saying i can use the return form. I contacted them again saying I’m not in the EU and explained the cost of return would be greater than the value of the pants and I again got the same generic answer in German. I tried to escalate higher but just got ignored. They made an insane amount of money on me and could not accommodate me with a simple return label. That said, the Merlin line up is a thing of beauty. So much that I was ready to take a hit and reorder what I hope is the right size.

The Mahala pro trousers are very well made, robust, extremely warm and comfortable and have kept me dry when raining. I think the sizing of the trousers is quite accurate to the sizing guide… I bought a size 2XL to match my regular size when buying normal trousers/jeans of 54 (EU) and found the waist size and regular leg length to be correct (I am 178cm tall) and the trousers a nice comfortable fit. I would recommend trying a smaller size XL though as these trousers are quite “roomy”.
