Shark Evo-One 2 Blank Capacete

My third Shark Helmet purchased from FC Moto in the last 4 years. Like the others, the quality and fit is very good. The EVO-One 2 is of course a very different helmet. It replaces the other two because it is truly a Jet and an integrated helmet.

I tried the original Evo and the Evo One but the mechanisms and operation just wasn’t 100%. When the “2” version arrived it solved all the small detail issues that stopped me buying the others. I always liked the function and style of these helmets but if it was going to be the “All in One” helmet I wanted it had to leave no question open. The One-2 ticks all the boxes. The pin lock fits into a recess in the visor so it does not touch the helmet when operated. The automatic visor up and down when closing / opening the chin piece is slick and will obviously stay that way. Opening and closing the chin piece with one hand is easy when riding. Shark recommend using two hands and doing it only when stationary I guess for safety reasons but once familiar with it is easy and fast to do. Clicking it fully closed and locked takes firm pressure and a few tries when only using one hand but you can take your time and it doesn’t need to be done all in one move.

Visibility when used as a full face helmet is good. The visor mists in the rain without the pin lock insert and not when pin lock is in place. The Sun visor is easy to operate, covers the perfect area, with its lower edge completely out of the sight line of your eyes. When entering a tunnel the mechanism is easy to find and use fast which is needed going into the dark from a sunny outside. Comfort is wonderful as is the fit. I have just over 2000KM with it, 800Km in one day wearing it the whole time. No need to take it off at all. Just open the Chin piece for a coffee or smoke.

There are no drafts that i detected so far and when open the helmet is not noisy at high speed. When closed, depending on the fairing there is plenty of noise so earplugs are needed on a long journey.

The helmet does what i wanted, looks how I wanted, is light and comfortable as well as very cool to operate. Highly recommended.
