On day after I got the boots while I was standing in a gas station in my village a tractor with 2 ton wagon drive to my direction with out seeing me and go over my leg from the ankle and right to my ribs.
I was injured badly but my ankle and foot got no injury whatsoever. The boots saved them!
I had the black one then and no, when I back ? I bought the brown one too.

Because the weather was too bad to ride the first month I had these boots I did a lot of walking in them instead. I wore them like any other casual boot and wore them while doing my daily errands. From the very first time I put them on I found them very comfortable, even to the point now that I plan on using them for times other than riding from now on. One of my favorite parts is the zippers on the sides that allow you to just slip them on, zip them up , and you're ready to go. They appear very well made and I do think they would offer proper protection in case I had an accident on my bike. I took a long time to decide on what pair of boots to get for riding and I'm glad I did because I'm very happy the TCX Hero.

Comfortable and well fitting. Quality materials. Side zipper for easy on and off. Easy to walk in. Perfect boots!
