The iXS protectors meet European safety standard EN1621-1 and EN1621-2 respectively.

Ich habe den Protektor gekauft, da ich meinem Sohn auch einen gekauft habe und mit gutem Beispiel voran gehen wollte. Dabei ist die Wahl auf den Cleaver gefallen weil mir die Modularität gefiel. So habe ich beim letzten Trailbesuch nur den RüPro genutzt. Der Artikel kam gut verpackt an und macht wirklich einen wertigen Eindruck (darf man für das Geld auch erwarten, denke ich). Das erste Anprobieren gestaltete sich als schwierig, da man doch eine gewisse Reihenfolge beachten sollte (steht alles in der Anleitung). Also erst durchschlüpfen und in die Schulterprotektoren, dann in die Ellenbogenprotektoren und dann den Gurt um die Hüfte zu machen. Hat eben einen Moment gedauert bis ich es geschnallt hab. Tragekomfort ist okay, d.h. am Anfang zwicken die Riemen unter dem Armen etwas (auch beim Solo-RüPro), das wird aber später beim Fahren deutlich besser. Ich habe das Ding mit einem Neck-Brace genutzt und muss sagen, die Einstellung von beiden zusammen ist schwierig. Zum Glück kann man beim Cleaver einen Teil des RüPro entfernen und hat somit etwas mehr Platz für das Neck-Brace, allerdings finde ich es fraglich einen Teile der nützlichen Polsterung zu entfernen... Sicher ist das kein Problem, da man da ja eh nicht drauf fallen kann, aber es sieht trotzdem komisch aus. Zum Thema Größe bleibt vielleicht noch zu sagen: Lieber eine Nummer größer nehmen! Ich kannte diese Größenpolitik schon von meinen Knie-und Ellenbogenprotektoren, daher auch keine Überraschung. Ansonsten bleibt mir nix zum Meckern, gutes Ding wenn man auch mal mit weniger Protektoren auf den Trail will und am nächsten Tag in voller Montur in den Park fährt.
