ABUS Granit Detecto XPlus 8008 2.0 Brake Disc Lock

The ABUS Granit Detecto XPlus 8008 2.0 alarm Brake Disc Lock offers superb protection for your motorbike.

Features:

16 mm steel bolt
The bolt as well as supporting elements of the locking mechanism are made of special hardened steel
Alarm of at least 100 dB for 15 seconds, then automatically rearming
Alarm function on basis of the ABUS 3D detection system that means, that every movement is detected
Different acoustic signals inform about battery, activation and alarm status
ABUS XPlus cylinder for highest protection against manipulations, e.g. picking
Two keys are supplied with the lock, one LED lighted
Manually operated keyhole cover to protect against dirt and corrosion
ABUS Code Card for additional or replacement keys
Lock can be transported in locked condition without activated detection system thanks to automatic brake disc recognition system

It seems that there are some modifications. Mine came with two indentical keys and none of the keys have light as it is written. This is not a big problem for me, I just wrap a zip tie around the key because a have two abus locks with the same looking keys.Another big difference is that when locked and armed if i touch the lock, or bike the alarm just beeps around 10 seconds and stops. If i touch the bike again it beeps again but it is not sounding the alarm. And if i touch the bike and it starts to beep and i continiue to move the lock then it sound the alarm for 15 seconds and became ready again. So there is no more problems when arming or disarming the lock. I dont know if this is normal or mine is defective but i like it this way My be it is an upgrade from previous models.
