How it works
Designed for all types of off-road riding, the Bionic XTR PLASMA protective jacket features anatomically profiled Nucleon PLASMA protectors mounted in a soft-touch construction on highly breathable padding for maximum protection, comfort, light weight and airflow. This jacket is equipped with a combined construction of Nucleon PLASMA and semi-rigid thermoplastic chest, back, shoulder and elbow protectors that provide maximum impact protection while being highly adaptable.
Features:
The level 2 chest protector consists of a Nucleon PLASMA protector with a semi-rigid thermoplastic outer shell attached to a highly perforated 3D mesh fabric, providing an optimal blend of protection, light weight, adaptability, flexibility, excellent air circulation and breathability.
The flexible side wings on the chest are attached separately to ensure maximum flexibility and an excellent fit.
The level 2 back protector is a composite construction and features a central semi-rigid thermoplastic zone on a Nucleon PLASMA protector to ensure better distribution of impact forces in a critical area.
Compatibility with the Bionic Neck brace through the removable Nucleon PLASMA puck.
The removable elbow and shoulder protectors are mounted on a highly breathable, slim stretch mesh construction and feature two independent, strategically positioned thermoplastic shells for a higher level of abrasion resistance and glide, while providing additional impact performance.
Strategically positioned padding on the sleeves and sides of the slim fit construction provide additional protection from tire stones.
Nucleon PLASMA is a viscoelastic material developed from bio-based polymers. It is flexible in all directions and has the ability to dissipate impact energy. The lightweight and well-ventilated PLASMA protectors offer strong dispersion and absorption of impact forces and ensure maximum protection in all riding positions.
Made from environmentally friendly and sustainable, shock-absorbing material.
Equipped with adjustable shoulder and side straps for an optimal fit. The side straps are V-shaped to ensure a high-performance fit that follows the curvature of the spine and prevents the material from constricting.
Removable, soft, thermoformed shoulder padding for improved rider comfort.
Compatibility with the Bionic Neck brace via the BNS shoulder pull tabs and the removable insert on the back.
Mesh construction features a central zipper for ease of use and practicality.
The Nucleon PLASMA protectors are ribbed to ensure better airflow while reducing the amount of material that comes into contact with the skin.
The elbow and shoulder protectors are removable for quick and easy washing.
