The SMX-6 V2 is a track and street performance boot that features a redesigned upper for flexibility. The SMX-6 V2 is superbly anatomically contoured, packed with innovative features and incorporates the latest advances in Alpinestars' performance boot design and development. Every component of the SMX-6 V2 has been carefully engineered to provide riders with a key performance advantage in the form of protection innovations, improved ergonomics and comfort features.

The boot's redesigned upper features innovative front, rear bellows and rear calf zones that provide a high level of flexibility. The upper is made of microfiber for durability and abrasion resistance
Ergonomic last for a streamlined forefoot design to allow better control of the bike's controls and for superior, broad-based foot profile, fit and comfort
Alpinestars' innovative TPU lateral ankle protection provides biomechanical support between the upper calf/shin and ankle, offering improved structural integrity, impact protection, repetitive abrasion resistance and flex support
Heel counter and shin plate vents and breathable mesh inserts (ventilated version only) improve comfort and reduce fatigue on short and long rides
High modulus TPU shin guard, calf protector, heel counter, shift pad, ankle guard and toe slider for improved impact protection and durability
Alpinestars' new and exclusive rubber sole provides improved feel and grip, water drainage and durability
Integrated, replaceable, bi-injected TPU slider with new, simple screw concept for faster and easier replacement
Innovative instep and Achilles accordion flex zone construction for superior comfort, stretch, control and support
Breathable textile lining with non-slip suede reinforcement in the heel to keep the foot in place while riding
Insole with integrated shank reinforcement to support the arch and protect the foot
Double ankle protector on the medial side, placed under the upper, provides protection in this important area
Opening/closure system on medial side features an elastic-mounted zipper with wide hook-and-loop closure for flexibility and secure fit. The opening is large for ease of entry and exit
An internal toe guard is placed under the upper for durability, better feel and performance
New removable anatomical footbed is made of EVA and Lycra for performance, comfort and support
