Moin,
leicht und luftig soll der neue sein und dabei ordentliche Qualität. Ist er, kann er! Gegenüber meinem Nolan Klapphelm ist dieser Bell Scout mehr als leicht.
Was man dennoch immer im Kopf haben sollte. Das ist ein Scout! Er schütz weder das Kinn noch das Gesicht. Weiter ist das kein Helm für die Autobahn, Brille und Tuch sollten daher immer dabei sein.
Weiter sollte klar sein das man alles hört! Alles, wirklich alles, zwar dämmt er etwas (habe noch einen ganz billigen der ist noch lauter) doch hat das aufgrund des Gewichtes und der Bauform natürlich Grenzen.
Ich benutze den Helm für kurze Fahrten oder um morgens zur Arbeit zu kommen. Und genau dafür ist der einfach nur genial. Der Wind ballert einem ins Gesicht, die Brille wird ordentlich auf die Nase gedrückt und die Fliegen zerlegen sich prima im Bart. So wie es sein soll.
Was mir aber am besten gefällt ist das ich mit dem Helm endlich einen richtigen Schulterblick hin bekomme. Ohne mit dem Kinnschutz oder der Krempe an irgendwas hängen zu bleiben. Das alleine heißt für mich schon "Freiheit" und macht beim Fahren richtig Spaß.
Da ich eine mehr als 30 Jahre alte Maschine (xv 535) Fahre ist mir die Geräuschkulisse sehr wichtig. Mit dem Bell Scout höre ich das erstmal meine Ventile klappern, das Saugen der Luft und kratzen der Fußrasten auf dem Aspfalt. Einfach nur Geil!
Der Verschluss hat mich am Anfang echt genervt, mittlerweile liebe ich dieses einfache System.
In der Summe kann ich jedem der Bock auf Freiheit, Sound und Oldschool look hat nur zu dem Teil raten.
Und das geilste ist, da der so klein ist, ist das verbauen einer Gegensprechanlage fast unmöglich und damit endlich ruhe von dem Gelaber der Ollen und den Kumpels ;)
