How it works
I’ve used this boot for around 20-30 rides now. They are anything but waterproof on wet rides. I’m not talking about a small patch on the socks. After my hour long commute home, I can physically wring out water from my pair of sodden socks. This is even though I cover the majority of the boot with my waterproof trousers (Alpinestars Andes Tourer). Please stay away if you are looking for all weather boots.

I bought size no46 and they are like 44,5 or something and I also had to remove the inner soles in order to fit. You should buy 2 sizes bigger. I don't know if they are good at rain, I only wore them at a 2500 kilometers "dry" trip. My feet were also sweating a lot. They definitely look nice though.

My second pair. Had a really good run on the originals so I was very happy to be able to buy the same boots years later.
We want everything to fit right . Take some quick measurements if you are unsure of your current clothes size. The most accurate measurements will be those you take in your underwear, applying the measuring tape directly to your body.
