So, hours and hours searching for reviews/guides for Iridium visors before I bought this were all a waste of time (this is the first time I am using a visor that's not clear). I work at nights, leave my house at the sunset and come back home before dawn. My biggest concern was not to be able to see at night due to slight tint, and it is indeed tinted, BUT, I have never seen a tinted/colored visor having a CRYSTAL CLEAR VIEW IN PITCH BLACK!!! (please be aware that I have very good eyesight, take this fact into account before riding at night yourself as my comment is very subjective. You may find it uncomfortable to use this visor at night so be careful) Obviously, it's slightly tinted and it will be very much noticeable at night but as the tint blocks the glare from incoming vehicles, I can actually see much better at night.

Another important thing to notice is that the visor is indeed very fragile and easily scratchable as internet says so be mindful. I always wipe the visor with a clean microfiber cloth every single time it gets wet. Your fingerprints WILL stick no matter how clean your hands are or how tiny you touched, it will look like a 5 year old with chocolate covered fingers had been playing with it for hours (if you have kids, you'll know what I'm talking about :D)

I haven't used to other variations of this but the one I bought is not mirrored (clear iridium one). However, the surface is little reflective and it's not that easy to see my face from a bystander point of view.

I hope this was useful for you to decide whether or not you want to buy this.
