Bores B-69 Military Olive Motorcycle Textile Jacket

This is a nice designed jacket with a comfortable wear. If you remove the protectors (additional purchase) you can also wear it as a normal winter jacket. And that is what I really like about this model, it is very casual. For my lenght (2 meter tall) the 5XL fits me well. There is no inner jacket you can take out, so it is only suitable in winter time. I prefer to wear a thinner and lighter jacket when temperatures rise above 15 degrees. This jacket is too hot to wear in summer time.

But....There is one big negative remark to make for this jacket, and that comes to the maintenance of this jacket. I'm well protected behind a large windscreen, but even then you will get all kind of insects that will crash on your jacket. And that leaves stains you won't get out. At least I did not manage. The outside of the jacket is normal cotton, if you try to remove a single stain of a dead insect you easily remove the color of the jacket. I also washed the jacket manually with special s100 washing powder but it did only remove the green color of the jacket, not the stains. I will not wash this jacket again, as I'm convinced by now it does not help and it will ruine your jacket even more.

So, in short. It is a very comfortable jacket with a nice design, but made of material not suited for motordriving. If they would make the same jacket in leather, I would buy it again.
The protectors needs to be purchased seperatly, which will cost you another 50 euro. Almost 350 euro for a motorjacket you can't maintain in the normal way is not a good deal.

Before I bought the jacket I send an e-mail to Bores customer service because I wanted to know more details on sizes of the jacket. Strange enough they never answered my e-mail, so don't expect much support from them in case you might need it.
