Sidi was founded in 1960 by Italian Dino Signori. At the age of 10, Signori worked for a shoe manufacturer in the Italian region of Veneto. By the age of 25, he designed his own ski and climbing boots, which he sold in stores. In 1969, Sidi expanded its range to include boots for motorcycle and motocross riders.
