DENALI GEN II CANsmart Controller for BMW R1300GS '24-
Product description
Take advantage of the flexibility and intelligence of your BMW motorbike's CAN bus electrical system to make accessory installation much easier with the new and improved DENALI CANsmart™ Controller GEN II.
The DENALI CANsmart™ Controller offers plug-and-play installation and integrated control of up to four accessories to enable dozens of customisable settings that can be controlled directly from the BMW „WonderWheel“ or the CANsmart™ accessory manager software.
The CANsmart's four circuits are pre-programmed to connect and independently control two sets of DENALI 2.0 lights, a SoundBomb horn and our B6 auxiliary brake light.
Gen II – More functions, more power, more versatile
In contrast to the Gen I CANsmart, all four circuits of the Gen II can deliver a full 10 amps of continuous current and each circuit can be configured to operate any type of accessory. The maximum current draw for the entire unit is 30 amps continuous. The Gen II also has two new additional light settings. You can now modulate your auxiliary lights to increase visibility and set your left and right parking lights to switch off independently of each other when you activate the corresponding indicator.
Features
High/Low Sync – Set the auxiliary headlights to switch between a programmable high/low setting using the factory high beam switch.
ON/OFF and dimming – Control two lights independently ON/OFF and change the intensity level (day and night) directly from the switches on your original vehicle.
Modulate lights – Set the auxiliary headlights to modulation to improve your visibility to other drivers.
Flash to Pass – Do you want to attract the attention of another person? Press the high beam switch three times and your auxiliary lights will flash three times quickly.
Cancel with turn signal – This function deactivates the corresponding auxiliary light when you switch on the indicator to prevent powerful auxiliary lights from overwhelming your signal.
Reverse hazard flashing – This function causes your auxiliary lights to flash in reverse to your hazard warning lights, increasing visibility in the event of an emergency at the side of the road.
Plug & play horn installation – Connect powerful aftermarket horns like our SoundBomb™ quickly and easily without having to add an additional wiring harness or relay.
Flash with horn – If this function is selected, the CANsmart™ software automatically flashes your auxiliary headlights when you sound the horn. This function works regardless of whether you have installed the factory-fitted horn or the SoundBomb™horn.
Brake-activated „Smart Brake“-Technology – The CANsmart™ reads the vehicle speed in real time to activate your auxiliary brake light during deceleration before you even touch the brake. You can adjust the sensitivity and minimum speed at which the Smart Brake function is activated.Flashing pattern brakes – The CANsmart™ offers four different flashing patterns that make our super-bright auxiliary brake lights visible even to drivers behind you. You can set the auxiliary brake lights to flash only when braking hard, flash continuously when the brakes are applied, or flash rapidly four times and then remain constant (legal flashing frequency in California).
Circuit Function Selector – With the Circuit Function Selector in the CANsmart software, you can operate any accessory of your choice on any of the four circuits. Click on a circuit icon to open the drop-down menu and make your selection from the list of available circuit functions.
Switched power source – The CANsmart™ offers a universal „accessory“option that simply provides you with clean switched 12 V power. This means that any accessory you connect to this circuit will switch on and off with your ignition.
Delayed timeout – You can also set the accessories in this circuit to have a delayed timeout. This keeps them powered for up to 30 seconds after you have switched off your bike.
Onboard power supply – The „accessory“circuit option is ideal for powering your GPS, phone, heated devices or other electronic devices.
