The Antartica GORE-TEX® 2 jacket is the most advanced touring garment for exploring the coldest countries on earth. Designed to provide superior thermal insulation and superior protection in the most extreme conditions. Inspired by the studies on the non-expansion lines of the human body used by Dainese and MIT in the development of the spacesuits for NASA astronauts on their journey to Mars, this jacket combines maximum protection technology with ergonomics that allow total freedom of movement in the saddle. The laminated GORE-TEX® membrane with 20,000 mm water column is a shield against rain, snow and the elements. This allows you to tackle long rides in all conditions with the comfort of maximum breathability. The removable down lining with a fill power of 700, which can also be worn separately, provides maximum thermal insulation, essential for explorations in the harshest climates on earth. The large front air intakes, directed towards the body and operable even with gloves, allow you to always set the ideal ventilation for maximum riding comfort. The Antartica 2 GORE-TEX® offers maximum practicality on the most demanding rides thanks to its features: 2 impermeable floating side pockets, a large impermeable cargo pocket on the back and the iconic external G.O. Pockets for stowing gloves during breaks and short stops allow you to comfortably store all your gear and always have it within reach. Protection in any situation is guaranteed by the Pro-Armor protectors (Level 2, Type B) on shoulders and elbows, with the highest certification level and coverage area in limb protectors. Inspired by the geometry of natural fractals, Dainese Pro-Armor technology allows ventilation and freedom of movement. A removable Pro-Armor back protector can be inserted into the back pocket. The most shock-sensitive areas are reinforced with the exclusive Trixior D-Tec, a highly abrasion and wear resistant fabric that, thanks to electronic processing, has an optimized thickness and structure that precisely follows the movements of the body. The jacket is completed by a highly ergonomic lumbar belt to adjust the fit and neoprene cuffs.
