I have used the Misano race suit before and unfortunately crashed really hard on track. The suit saved my life. I crashed in a tire wall in +200km/h. My spine got compressed 6cm and my arm got split in two. Leg shattered, foot the same. And more.
However I did not get any injuries in my neck due to the airbag. I’m guessing that I would not make it without the airbag.
Now three years later I am up again and bought this jacket. As always with Dainese the overall feeling is that the quality is top notch. Size is same as the suit. I’m wearing 52 and I’m now only 178 (184 before the crash) and about 80kg.
Only negative thing I can say is that it’s really heavy and I’m guessing that it’s very warm since the airbag feels like an extra layer inside the jacket. Compared to the suit it’s very “roomy” and it is because the jacket is for road and it expands more compared to the race suit. On the street I think I will like that more. I bought Dainese pants that is compatible with the zipper so it’s a two piece suit with the possibility to only use it as a jacket with my Kevlar jeans if I want too.
Highly recommended.

I'm very happy with the product as I was looking for a leather jacket for a while now. I already have Dainese Airbag vest but for almost the same price I got the top of the notch jacket (bought it during the SALE15)! I already have a perforated summer textile Dainese jacket size 46 but I bought a size 48 and I'm 171 tall, 97 cm chest, 81 cm waist. I might have room for 2-3 cm to get bigger in my chest but not as much in my waist so I need to be fit during the riding season :) I hope the info helps, expecially those who are near my measurements.
