It is made of fine TUTU cowhide with breathable lining and has four vents, two on the hip and two on the chest, for maximum thermal comfort. A snug fit and flexibility are provided by a fit adjustment system at the hip, areas of S1 2-way stretch fabric and Microelastic 2.0 leather inserts at the back and arms. This increases freedom of movement while maintaining the protection typical of leather. The Dainese Racing 4 motorcycle jacket features a zipper at the hem that allows it to be connected to the motorcycle pants, as well as EN 1621.1 certified protectors made of composite material on the elbows and shoulders, the latter being additionally protected by replaceable external aluminum plates - a special technology from Dainese: These support and facilitate sliding in the event of a fall, preventing dangerous rollovers on the asphalt.
