How it works
The Stelvio D-Air® D-Dry® XT motorcycle jacket has an integrated airbag system. It thus combines the comfort of a waterproof touring garment and the safety of the D-air® airbag system, developed by Dainese over 25 years of research and testing in the most extreme conditions. The Dainese D-air® airbag system, which does not need to be connected to the motorcycle, detects dangerous situations and turns on in emergencies to protect the motorcyclist by activating the airbag through microfilament technology. This provides coverage for the back and chest. Other safety features include ProArmor 2.0 protectors on the shoulders and elbows, which provide maximum comfort in terms of lightness and flexibility, a high level of ventilation and a high level of protection. The jacket is an EN17092:2020 approved motorcycle jacket, suitable for long distance riding in all weather conditions thanks to the impermeable, breathable D-Dry® XT 4-way stretch membrane. This is because it offers exceptional protection from rain and the elements while providing maximum freedom of movement and comfort. The vents with waterproof zippers on the front and back provide breathability and freshness on hot days. To ensure a perfect fit, the jacket is equipped with an internal elastic lumbar belt to regulate the fit at the waist and other adjustments with buckles at the hips, Velcro at the cuffs and snaps on the arms.
