Daytona really do great boots, I mean, you really got to give it to them. These are (for me) perfect casual motorcycle boots for shorter rides and bridge that sport bootie / sneaker / retro gap nicely. I'm a standard EU 46, slightly wide and I like a roomy toe-box. Length is true to size (room in the toe-box is fine like a normal shoe). Width is a little on the narrow side (but not Italian narrow if you compare to Sidi), slightly firm on the arch but it feels more like support rather than small, and of course the feel can be controlled by how tight you lace. They feel protective: toe box is firm, anti-torsion is firm, ankle protection is firm, maybe could use a little more stiffness in the heal, but that would impede comfort I think. The shift pads are large enough to tow-snick through the gears on a sport bike to full-foot shifting on a clunky scrambler. Foot-bed is somewhat firm but comfortable for medium distance walking and have a Birkenstock vibe, feels like these will form around the foot with time. There's a flip-grip thingy for speed lacing which works well and can be removed if you want to just lace normally. Summer heat in Greece so can't really comment on waterproofing or air flow, but they're so much more comfortable and useful than anything else I've had for shorter rides, so these suit my needs perfectly. And they don't look goofy. Comfortable out of the box, zero break-in period. Worth it.

This is my first experience with Daytona. This shoe has impeccable construction. It’s light but sturdy. It’s comfortable for walking. Nice support. I would purchase this shoe again. My shoe size is 12 American. I ordered a 46. My foot is normal. Normal instep. Normal width.
We want everything to fit right . Take some quick measurements if you are unsure of your current clothes size. The most accurate measurements will be those you take in your underwear, applying the measuring tape directly to your body.
