Daytona Road Star GTX M waterproof Motorcycle Boots

The most ridden Daytona motorcycle boot with numerous test awards. Available in five different widths from XS to XL.

waterproof and breathable with GORE-TEX Duratherm membrane

Very good, with room for improvement (26.03.2025)

I’m very pleased with the quality construction of these boots. The comfort is also very good as well as the fine materials they’re made of. I also love the sizing options available.However, I think it’s time to update this top-sellers with a more modern safety features, like a stronger TPU shin reinforcement, some additional ankle protection and maybe a higher shin. I know that Daytona already has a couple of more touring oriented models that address my concerns in one way or another, but if they already build the safest road racing boots, they might as well trickle down some of the technology. There is also a slightly beefed up version called the PRO version of the Road Stars, but for some strange reason, they’re only available for UK customers.

My feet is average size, I got the regular width in size 44. The quality of the leather is absolutely superb. Fitting is spot on, extremely comfortable. However, they are not as sturdy or protective as other boots in the market. Shin height could be taller, shin plate could be stronger and ankle support could be better. There is a PRO version that supposedly addresses some of my concerns, but is only available in the UK.
