For pinions, only 16 MnCR 5 steel is used, in accordance with OEM quality, on high-precisionmachined on automatic lathes. Due to the special gear-cutting process as well as a case hardening of 700 HV 40 at an insert depth of 0.4mm, our pinions meet the highest quality requirements.With modern broaching machines we guarantee an exact fitting dimension on the drive shaft with a radial and axial run-out tolerance of less than 0.1mm.
