At its core is the proven MIPS® system, which uses a low-friction layer between the head and the helmet to effectively reduce rotational forces in the event of an impact. The ultra-lightweight fibreglass composite shell delivers outstanding impact resistance while keeping weight to a minimum, ensuring comfort even during extended sessions on the track. The MDEPS™ EPS inner shell distributes impact energy across a wider surface area, further enhancing the level of protection. A three-position adjustable breakaway visor with dedicated shear-off screws helps shield against roost and debris and is designed to detach in a controlled manner upon impact to minimise injury risk. An integrated hydration system provides easy access to fluids while riding, and the built-in intercom cut-outs support most standard communication systems – ideal for training or group rides. The moisture-wicking Ionic+® liner keeps the interior fresh and comfortable, while the emergency-release cheek pads allow for safe helmet removal if required. A durable titanium D-ring closure completes the safety package. The V3 Spire Youth comes with practical accessories including a clip-on visor extension, replacement visor hardware and a hydration-compatible mouthpiece. Weighing just 1270 g (size M), this helmet delivers the ideal balance of protection and lightness. Recommended for children aged approximately 4 to 14 – a high-performance helmet in youth sizing, designed for the next step on the dirt.
