I have used this bag on multiple occasions in mud, rain and sun and it held through and through. I can fit most of my gear & clothing for a multi-day ride and it has proven a better bag than most cases I’ve used. Consider this: a top case mounted on a rack can hold less mass (kg) than this bag which is mounted to your motorcycle tail which has to hold and additional person. Would recommend any time over a top rack.
