On wed 26 march 2025 i was involved in a crash when an SUV entered the road in front of me. there wasn't enough braking distance to stop before a collision. I low sided and slid along the road (chip seal surface, very abrasive). Thankfully I had installed the Held Viper 2 D30 Back Protector a few months earlier. After the accident one of the vertebrae in the middle of my back was sore. I don't even want to think of the damage I would have had had I not been wearing a back protector. Get one and wear it.
