Bought this for my 8 year old daughter with a size 53cm head (got the L (54). It is a little bit too big for her. My head circumference is 54cm and I easily fit into this Helmet. I would therefore suggest buying 1 size smaller (i.e. rather go for a size 52). Otherwise the quality looks good for the pricing and it is lighter than the HJC kids helmet I bought for her sister.
A. Body height: Take off your shoes and stand barefoot with your back against a wall to measure your body height to the top of your head.
B. Chest circumference: Measure horizontally around the widest part of your chest.
C. Waist circumference: Measure horizontally around your waist.
D. Inside leg length: Inside leg measured from the crotch to the ground.
