The Sonic Mesh summer textile jacket from Held is perfect for hot days. Air-permeable mesh inserts on the front, back and arms ensure optimum ventilation, while the front zip can also be used as an air vent. With breathable mesh lining, stretch inserts on the shoulders and elbows and a comfortable soft collar, this jacket offers comfort and flexibility.

Ventilation is good. Thermal comfort is something I would say I am satisfied with! It is nice that it has two zippers in the front so you can close it completely, but also keep it semi-opened which gets more air in.
The grey color helps compared to black, it does not get so hot. It gets dirty easily, but is also washes well (hand washed). Pay attention to color transfer from other clothing when it is wet (rain). Try not to keep receipts in the pockets when it rains, you will get the ink on it and it does not come off :)
The fit is OK and it is comfortable. The protectors are standard rubber. There is no protector on the back, but you have the pocket for it. The pockets are small. This is good because it makes the jacket slim, but bad if you are the storage kind of person.
Sizing was take from the chart on the site, but it is a bit at the limit, so if you have doubts be careful and measure yourself well or get the next size. Personally I did not have problems with the size, just wanted to mention this.
The price to experience ratio is good.
All this experience is after a trip of 3500km in high temperatures and sun.
