How it works
Invisible airbag to keep your safety with style. The jacket made of high quality black leather is provided with breathable and stretchy zones under the arms that ensure a good ventilation and a freedom of movement. Thanks to its removable thermal liner the airbag jacket can even be worn in lower temperatures. For an optimal protection it integrates the Turtle Technology and shoulder/elbow armors.

The release is effected by a rip cord, which is firmly attached to the vehicle and is inserted into the waistcoat when climbing on. It is very unlikely that the ripcord will be accidentally triggered by forgetting the ripcord when getting off the vehicle, as a force of about 300 Nm is required to activate the airbag. By replacing the CO2 cartridge, the jacket can be used again immediately after a deployment.
In the event of a deployment, the system has the optimum pressure after 100 milliseconds to develop the full protective effect. This time span has been determined on the basis of Helite's many years of experience and numerous calculations and tests in order to provide the optimum pressure to protect the body at the exact moment of impact. Important parts of the body are already protected during the release process, when the full pressure has not yet been reached.

The waistcoat features the innovative Turtle system. Here the Sas-Tec back protector lies over the airbag like a turtle shell in the event of a deployment. The spinal column remains free of any load and punctual forces are effectively distributed and absorbed over the entire airbag in the back area. The protection is therefore many times higher than with a standard airbag.
We want everything to fit right . Take some quick measurements if you are unsure of your current clothes size. The most accurate measurements will be those you take in your underwear, applying the measuring tape directly to your body.
